I sort of think it's dated. I mean when you think about it it's really only a piece of paper that really states that someone is together, that's all you're really doing I guess is making legal. At the same time from what other people have mentioned I think it is good because it shows how you really care for someone and are willing to take it to the level of being with that person for the rest of your life. I guess for me I sort of think that people make a really big deal out of it. Like my cousin spent like probably 30-50 thousand dollars for just one day.

You're right. You're right I am overreating and they are afterall only a band. But at the same time there aren't many artists that I look forward to a release from as much as them. Listen... thinking about what you guys are saying I understand and agree that they don't owe us anything, I should enjoy what I have, and not be selfish or whining. But at least can't you at least see how it could be frustrating?

yup exactly. TKOL is not bad... I still like it, but it seems way to short. It's just mostly disappointing because you wait so long for a new album, which itself was disappointing and underwhelming, and now it seems like that was it. Also it sucks because there are still so many songs they have (present tense, daily mail, ring/wake me (before they come), a walk down the staircase, burn the witch, skirting on the surface) and I guess those are just going to be shelved like so many other songs (Big Boots, Follow Me Around, Lift, True Love Waits)

Well also Radio 6 Music in the UK also caught up with Ed, and they asked him about the rumors of a part two, and he basically said that they did have songs that are incomplete or didn't work, but don't have anything on the lines of a 7-8 song album or there being another album released in the autumn. Basically he said that it seems a lot of those songs may just be put on the shelf, and never finished at all since they like to start fresh with each album. Especially since at least from what he said and his tone, then that TKOL (plus this single on Monday) is really all that they have. And if that's the case, then we have to really just wait until they start up sessions for another album (which at the rate that they work we probably won't see another album for like 5 years). I'm sorry if it's annoying but the idea of waiting that long for this many songs is extremely unsatisfying.

more things that made me happy... getting to now just work on a few old songs and fix up some of the lyrics. And also making up a cool bassline, though I feel it's been used before. mostly happy to have gotten the day off after a few long and busy days
