What I'm trying to say is that there are two categories: Safe/unsafe Good/bad She said she was a good driver but unsafe. Then she said she was very careful. That's contradictory.

It can be. I was just throwing out an example. I mean driving 45 in a neighborhood with kids playing would be considered unsafe.

Ok then that means you suck at driving. Good but not safe means that you're a good driver, but you choose to do unsafe things such as speeding.
