  1. can't wait to see the video feeds after.... :)
  2. huh? did I miss something (or rather you?) They played LiT as the very first song as usual...
  3. agreed... we were much livelier in the Toronto threads :P let's make some NOISE!!!!!!!!!!! I for one have been counting the days til the Ottawa concert (and hopefully some news on their return to Toronto in 2009 - fingers crossed).
  4. aside from the crappy online radio2 stream - will any of you have a decent method of capturing the concert when it airs? I just read on the BBC site that the week following the broadcast they will be showing video of the concert as well. Hopefully someone can at least grab a good quality cap of the audio whether it be on DAB or FM or even TV broadcast ;)
  5. heh - are you sure you're a huge fan with a question like that? ;)
  6. woooOOOO!!!!!!! just got tickets... can't wait!!!! best way to fight the coldplay concert withdrawl is to keep going :P
  7. just heard an interesting little blurb on XM radio from Chris where he says they weren't ready to go ahead with the tour and instead went back to England where he worked out to get into better shape (lost 12lbs) and did some vocal training as well. Dunno if this is old news or not but I found it rather amusing...
  8. the file is compressed into 1 file called a .rar file. Use winrar to unrar it - it will then extract all the individual files contained in the rar file (all the files will have the extension .flac or .mp3 depending which link you click). Once you have all the individually named files then use foobar or winamp to play them.
  9. unrar it using winrar - you'll get all the files in flac format (lossless) which then you can use foobar or winamp with the flac plugin to play them. Otherwise just grab the mp3 one.
  10. read back to post #495 where I posted a link with mp3s (and its also on coldplaybootlegs).
  11. glad you all enjoyed it... now here's hoping they air the Toronto July 30th and 31st shows (more importantly the 30th with the double encore and Don't Panic) :)
  12. yep - you're not alone... and its been almost a week here since they played :(
  13. what doesn't work? i just clicked the link and downloaded the rar file - extracted that and had all the files...

  15. Live Recording on XM Online dunno how many of you know this - but XM Online is doing a "30 days of Coldplay" with live sets from their ViVA 2008 tour. Right now they are playing the Philly concert (and with some special programs you can save the streams locally and convert them to mp3 or wave or whatever you want). You can signup with XM Online right now and get a free 3 day trial.
  16. One thing I noticed (and maybe that is the issue with some of the copies that a few people might have).. There are a few copies floating around usenet that seem to be very subpar quality (especially in LiT). If you think that LiT is sounding low quality (and you didn't purchase an original CD or itunes download) then do yourself a favor and buy it. I checked out a few releases (even FLAC releases) and was surprised to find how bad LiT was compared to the original CD.
  17. enjoy the concert - it is truly an experience :)
