Hey Chelsea, I responded to your idea about moving the date in the other thread (I personally think keep it where it is) I don't think Postal Workers come under the Government umbrella - certainly last time they went on strike I don't remember the Government being that bothered about us all getting our mail...

You could drop her a mail asking for a rough date of when she's delivering and then maybe look at moving the date. However, it's my experience at work, that the longer you give people time to do something, the more they procrasctinate. I think it's fine as it is. Any late arrivals will get passed on eventually, just not with the original ones

Yes. I have a very humble Honda Jazz. I'm never going to afford a super-dooper car, I'm never going to drive anywhere really weird, so why would I watch that show? I appreciate I'm in a minority - loads of my kids watch it and they're not even old enough to drive... it just strikes me as a really bizarre show.

Seriously, Chelsea, it's a non-issue. I had thought about posting something about it myself, but didn't want to panic people. There's no guarentee it'll even happen, it could get called off between now and then. But don't worry, guys, you're postcards will still get here in time.

It's just a one day thing - and I don't think it's even the whole country. Liverpool is on strike (they always join in this kind of thing), but don'r panic people, it'll only delay your cards by a day or two.
