  2. Lina, it's lovely and you wrote a great message - short and simple! :)

  4. I was right in front of the little runway on the left of the stage - I've never had such good seats before... probably never will again. I couldn't believe how close I was to Chris & Jonny - everyone in that section got so excited whenever they came down. It was such a great stage design, it meant so many more people got closer to them. I kinda wish I'd had exactly the same seat but on Guy's side of the stage, but I guess that's just being greedy:wink3:
  5. Well, apart from Coldplay I could survive without the music of the 21st century so far. I love pop, the cheesier the better, so the 80's rock for me! Oh, and it's good to know what makes some people cry ^^
  6. Yeah, "fun" just isn't a strong enough word for this place... Welcome!
  7. Wow! We were sat really close! It's funny, waiting for them to come on, I kept looking at the people around me thinking "I wonder if they're from the board???" :laugh3: I also had a fantastic view, I did take my camera... and all my photo's sucked. New Years Resolution... learn how to use my camera :dozey:

  10. Well, most cards from Liverpool tend to feature The Beatles and it seemed daft to send a postcard of one band to another band! When I found that one I was thrilled. I love the clours in it and the place it depicts is literally 60 seconds away from Parr Street Studios. And the cinema you can see in the card is a really cool cinema that shows lots of different kinds of movies as well as the big blockbusters (the chairs recline and you can take alcohol in with you too). I figured they may well have gone there during their time in the city. It's the best cinema in Liverpool
  11. So we can expect a vote for GOW when you're feeling thirsty??? Life In Technicolor ii 32 + Glass Of Water 21 Rainy Day 15 - Prospekt's March/Poppyfields 14
  12. Chris should not say anything. I think the statement was polite and reserved and the rest should be dealt with by lawyers. To his credit Mr Satirani does seem to be taking issue with the whole band, not just Chris, but the press will pounce on anything Chris says, then twist it. There was an interview the other day where they were talking about musical influences. Guy said they didn't want to just keep making the same song time and again "we don't want to plagerise ourselves" Then Chris cracked a joke about the music that influences them and said something like "we're enthusiastic plagerists" I wanted to scream at my computer - it's just his sense of humour, but you can imagine the other sides lawyers cutting that quote out of the paper. Chris should keep quiet and wait to defend himself in court... if it gets that far!
  13. God, no, I didn't make that card, I bought it!!! And you should visit London if you ever get the chance, it is an amazing city.

  15. Your cards are lovely, and you can tell you put a lot of effort in to them! I am not at all artistic so I'm still figuring out what to do for my "home-made" one, but for my local one I picked this It shows a street in Liverpool that's just around the corner from Parr St Studios where they recorded most of Parachutes & AROBTTH.

  17. I've heard a lot of people recommend something called Gimp which is apparently idiot-proof (I'm just to scared I might prove them wrong!)
  18. Yeah, my boyfriend said that too, but I remember reading or hearing an interview somewhere and they were talking about decision making. I think it was Chris who said that if they ever have a decision to come to that they can't agree on, it's Will who tends to get the final say. So if he didn't want Jay-Z, he probably wouldn't be there. Wonder what the Coldplay wives thought when Girls Aloud were announced :laugh3:
