I got an email at about 8am this morning

We're trying to keep track of who has sent their card. According to my list 18 people from Team Europe still haven't sent their card. I'm sure some of you have, but haven't PM'd to confirm. It's really important that we know if the cards have been sent - and it's really important to get them in the mail if you haven't already done so!

I left my camera at work :facepalm: And the snow has suddenly arrived...

Cute tree decoration! I sent one in my card, but it wasn't as nice as that. I would have expeceted my card to have arrived by now...

Well to add to the weather talk, I'm in Liverpool and the weather is nice: bright and clear with not even a hint of frost... 10 minutes up the road in Widnes there was a thick layer of ice on everything this morning... 10 minutes further than that it was fine... Then half any hour later everything was covered in snow :rolleyes: In short, it's no wonder the Met office keep changing their minds, it's freaky out there!

I wouldn't get too concerned about snow if you're coming to Liverpool. We never get much.

Don't worry, you don't have to send a gift. We encourage people to send a really nice card, but don't ask for gifts so that people don't feel under pressure to spend a lot of money. Some people choose to send something but it's a personal choice :)

The elves have recieved some really lovely messages too. It's great to hear how much everyone has enjoyed doing this again :)

Think the weather has been so bad up their recently they've had more important things to worry about - my folks live about 30 min away from Newcastle and they've been under 4 feet of snow!

There are a few students who have given their home address rather than their term time one - so if you're expecting your card to have already arrived but they haven't posted here to say they received it, don't worry, the card might actually have got there before they have! :elf:

Well after several aborted attempts, I finally managed to get my card in the mail. Phew! Sent it airmail, should only take about 6 days. In total, Team Europe have now sent 24 cards. Thanks to everyone who has already posted their card, wherever you are in the world :nice: To those of you who haven't yet, please get them in the mail soon. If for any reason you can't send your card, please tell your elf - don't leave someone waiting for a card that is never going to arrive! Thank you :elf:

We want to make it possible for everyone to join in, so we say just send a card, but some people like to put in a little token. Please don't feel that you have to! (Last year I burnt a CD of chessy Christmas tunes and sent it with the card - don't think it went down well with the recipient :\ :laugh3: )
