Do you think these shows are perhaps going to have more of a "greatest hits" feel to them than a bias towards the Viva stuff?

Remembering Violet Hill
Close enough. It was a ridiculously hot day when I was there and there wasn't a clous in the sky. Made a nice change to the usual British summer but didn't really capture the mood of the song

Best coldplay song when you're Inebriated.
I wonder how the backwards version of The Scientist sounds when drunk...

Earth Hour
My boyfriend was not too keen on the idea, but when he realised the football will be over by then he relented

MTV 2 Vidiots
Just flipping through music channels and came across this quick, little cartoon of Coldplay on MTV2 They're all sat at a press conference and Chris is doing all the talking. Then a journalist asks a question he doesn't like and he storms off. Jonny, Will & Guy all cheer, then they start pointing in the direction he went in chanting "Who are ya?" Kind of funny - and the drawing look nicer that the LITii puppets! I think you can find it on here: http://www.mtv.co.uk/vidiots

Your final Coldplay song before going to sleep at night
If I put VLVODAAHF on my I-pod when I get in to bed, I usually drift off when "Lost" starts, stir again towards the end of "42" and fall asleep completely by the time "Reign of Love" starts. If I'm still properly awake for "Yes", I know it's going to be a bad nights sleep...

Who needs to be inebriated to appreciate Guy Berryman's work? :wink3:

Best coldplay song when you're Inebriated.
That's the beauty of Everything's Not Lost - I think it covers both. The depressed can count up their demons, the karaoke brigade can enjoy the singalong at the end

Remembering Violet Hill
I had to Sky+ it because I was at work. Was so nervous listening to it incase I hated it - but it was love at first listen. Went to Violet Hill over the summer... need to go back in December to capture the full effect!

Best coldplay song when you're Inebriated.
Everything's Not Lost is brilliant to sing along with when you're drunk

Is There a Coldplay Song You Just Can't Stand?!
I have this really bizarre mental blackout with that song... if you put a gun to my head right now, I couldn't tell you what it sounds like. I don't know what it is, I can just never remember it

Is There a Coldplay Song You Just Can't Stand?!
I forgot about that - I don't hate it, but when I first heard it, it made me nervous about what the album would sound like because I knew I wouldn't like 10 more of the same

Is There a Coldplay Song You Just Can't Stand?!
SO many people hate A Whisper... it really is the only duff track on AROBTTH

Is There a Coldplay Song You Just Can't Stand?!
Ah, Daylight is one of my faves... but possibly because it has a great bassline and I spend too much time on the Berryman thread :embarassed:

Best Advice
Aw, that's really sad advice - you should be more positive than that! When I was 12 and having a rough time with a bully at school I said I hated him. My Mum told me that "hate" was a word too strong for me to understand and therefore I shouldn't use it. Seemed ridiculous at the time, but knowing where I am now, and where that guy is now, she was right.
