  1. Yeah, I've got a poster that claims I Speak Because I Can is the first of two albums in 2010. Btw, Rambling Man was just released as the next single and it's B-Side is a studio version of 'Oh Mama How Far I've Come' which a lot of people expected to be on her next album. Very much want to hear it anyways, the live version of that song I have is brilliant.
  2. I just got my ticket for her Sydney show, and found out Johnny Flynn is supporting. Very, very excited.
  3. Ok, Keane are going the right way to losing all credibility whatsoever. First stop for a minute and now this rocky song. What the hell was Tim thinking? Oh well, at least I can look forward to Jesse Quin's album. Oh, and at the Keane website there seems to be alot of people criticising those who don't like this new stuff for being 'anti-change'. I'll just say that this doesn't seem like creative progression in the vein of Perfect Symmetry. More like Keane trying to capatilise on the recognition PS recieved from the Hip-Hop world.
  4. Can't wait to hear the album, I'm heading to town tomorrow morning to pick it up.
  5. I agree, this song is really commercial. I don't know if this is an attempt by Keane to reach a younger audience, but they've managed to sound like any number of bubblegum pop songs which are all over the radio. I thought Clear Skies was cool, here's hoping that the rest of the EP is better than this. lol.
  6. I don't know if anyone else has already picked up on this, but it seems Davide Rossi, the guy who done the strings on Viva, has also done some work with Apparatjik. http://twitter.com/rossidavide Edit: Woops, looks like you've heard. Never mind, I was excited.

For those of you who don't know, Earth Hour is an organised event where people are encouraged to turn off lights for an hour, with the target of raising people's consciousness about the link between global warming and energy use. http://www.earthhour.org/home/ Also, the tv advertisement features Fix You!
