I wouldn't consider VLVODAAHF at all mainstream, apart from the title track, which wasn't even intended to be a single until the iTunes ad, which skyrocketed its popularity (in fact it was almost left off the album entirely because the band questioned its place amongst the rest of the songs).

missyvik, I know what you're talking about! It was in an interview with Dougal Wilson, the director of the LITii video. So you met up with Phil? I did. We had a chat and it sounded like they wanted something in the style of what I'd done before, with my kind of silly humour. They were originally going to release a song called Glass Of Water, so that was the one I came up with an idea for. But that idea turned out to be too expensive and would've involved the band, which was looking really tricky because they were on tour. So, then I had to think of another idea, but it was nice because they were committed to me doing it by that point. Meanwhile, the band had suggested that they could be puppets, possibly in a Thunderbirds style. I thought puppets was a great idea, but that the Thunderbirds look had been done, with Team America.

Yesss, I hope everything turns out for the best for them. :\ What annoys me about this whole thing is that all of these stupid accusations are harming the band's reputation. Just last week, this guy said to me, "Maybe you you should like a band who actually writes their own music". I was REALLY frustrated and explained the whole thing, but he seemed to believe the media more than I.

I've always found it pretty awesome that people actually place their trust in the Oracle for relationships advice. :lol:
