Hey Jason: Thanks for all the pictures, videos, the review and posts. It looks unfortunately like the DLIBYH video has a copyright protection claim on it in the states (so we can't view it here). Anyone know of a work around? I would really like to see it. Regardless, thanks for the effort and everything involved with getting these items up online. VIP was a little steep for me especially since I am probably darting over to Europe for a few shows this summer. Instead, I grabbed a decent pair in section 102. The end of April is going to be a lot of fun.

The absolute best track on Mylo Xyloto in my opinion. Then again, I think most of the tracks are exceptional which puts it in a league of its own. Heck, to paraphrase Sam Jackson, it's not even in the same sport as everything else. The boys nailed it here.

I absolutely love the Rock Am Ring version of it. The band totally went off playing that night with Chris adding a few lines of encouragement for the crowd. The studio version is outrageous too but I really like the live recording.

The crowd was just great and then some ... Folks: I have lurked and watched this thread enough. Simply put, I can no longer sit and read all these bellyaching comments about the crowd in San Jose. The crowd was great. Did you all not take your happy pills today? For perspective, I was in the 14th row just left of center on the main floor. From my vantage point it looked the crowd on the floor was on its feet all night long. Let's face it, there are always going to be morons and idiots that attend shows. My suggestion is to deal with it or skip the show entirely. But did someone who had trouble taking a picture with their camera really ruin the entire show for some of you? C'mon ... is this all we really have to write and talk about? Keep in mind too everyone that the age range attending this show in my row alone ranged from 56 on the high end to 10 years old. Are really going to ridicule a 56 year old who needs to take a seat for a few songs? Again, give me a break. If they want to take a seat, let 'em I say. And, just ignore them if they ask you to sit down. Were the people in front of your seated???? I for one did not take a seat all night long and I am pushing 40. My take away message for the masses is that I hope you enjoy your own personal time at the shows. The tickets are too expensive and the show is too short to allow anyone to adversely impact your time seeing one of the great bands or perhaps even the greatest band on the road today. And, if you are concerned about the reaction of the crowd in San Jose, check the YouTube postings. I think the video shows a rather animated crowd that is truly in a lather that the band fed off of throughout the night. Why else would they alter their setlist to throw in some tracks we have not heard in some time. Just my 2 cents for everyone's consideration, Tom

And we all know that Coldplay is bringing sexy back this year. Props to Justin Timberlake of course. Yes, YES is an amazing track. Catching it live I am sure will be amazing ... especially when Chris sings it in a lower range. Its location on the album is jarring too right after 42. I dig it.

I am not one to get easily amped up over albums, but VLV has completely impressed me. I have to say that this is one of the great cds/albums of the past 20 - 30 years. Seriously, I think it is that good. I hear so many influences in these tracks. One second I hear the Beatles, the next Peter Gabriel, then Genesis and so on and so on. All I can say is WOW!!! I cannot wait to hear a true lossless copy in a couple of weeks. 42, Lovers and YES really hit me in the right place. Yes is probably my favorite, but this changes by the hour. If you have not heard it yet folks, find a way. It is a blast of an album.

And, I will leave the French kissing to others. One of two things are going on. The first possibility is that the message from coldplay.com is getting caught in a spam filter. The second possbility is that the server is overloaded with requests and missed your request. This is exactly what happened to me. I suggest that you keep registering for the download instructions over and over until you receive the email from Coldplay.com. This work around did the trick for me. TB
