  1. Far from the truth. If you text the lyrics of Viva La Vida properly, (unfortunately) one could assume they are celebrating the crucifiction of Christ. Bad analogy but you should celebrate that in a different way. Right brother? :) I know this will spark debate and im not going to get into it but singing that "Jerusalem bells are ringing and Roman calvaries are singing"?? Jerusalem betrayed Christ and Roman calvaries are best known for hanging Him on a cross. Christian? Nope. P.S. - Who rules "the world"?

That should have ended this thread IMHO.
  3. Ahh...Mr. Eno ~ I have been interested in Coldplay for some time (not enthralled like most of you, was really spellbound by Dave Matthews but he sucks as of well...BTCS) and since I saw that Brian Eno was producing the latest CP album I have been checking out some of Eno's previous music. I must say, that Eno is darn near well...brilliant in his own right. If you don't know his music check out the following tunes, you will be pleasently suprised: 1 - An Ascending (Ascent) One of the best productions I have ever heard in my life 2 - Deep Blue Day - Very spacey but relaxing and enjoyable 3 - Golden Hours - Just fantastic 4 - This - Extremely catchy, check it out! All of his work has alot of texture. I have come to appreciate Eno much more since I have started digging into his older stuff. After listening to some of Eno's previous work you will certainly appreciate Viva La Vida as much as I have, especially 1:37 and onward. Happy Listening...

Why the long drawn out diatribe? Just leave. Its just a forum - there are millions of forums on the internets - thanks to Al Gore of course. I have been coming here for about a year and just recently decided to post because of all the excitement about the new album. When the excitement draws down I dont plan on having an exit interview. You're just looking for attention and now you have it. Satisfied? Good...now move along.
  7. Good job. You didnt read what I quoted then. The person asked someone to upload the song onto this website. So basiclly Chris Martin would be just peachy with me purchasing a song off the new album, uploading it to this site and let everyone dl it for free. Got it.
  8. Isnt this illegal? I would assume that the band would frown upon such things as this, or am I missing something?
