Yeah. Chris likes how the lyrics are kind of general? I think thats the word. So fans can apply them to their lives and relate to them. Most likely, all the songs mean something personal to him, but he's pretty private so maybe he doesn't wanna share. And for me at least, sometimes when you hear the real meaning of a song, it kind of changes what it meant for you. So maybe he was trying to avoid that. About "Yellow", Chris said on storytellers that the song just came to him but it was missing a line with a two syllable word. Then he saw the Yellow Pages and he thought "Yellow". Then he joked about how Yellow could've been called Playboy.

If they want to release Lost! as a single, they should record a new version that osunds more like the live version.

They're obviously about someone. You can't just write songs without thinking about someone or something. Maybe you can pull it off once or twice, but not more. It's like when they stopped playing Green Eyes cause it wasn't about Gwenyth. I thought that was crap. But yknow, obviously it shows that he clearly writes songs about girls from before Gwenyth. Which we should totally expect anyhow.
