ha, I instantly thought of you guys in this thread when I received the email... but it seems like I'm not the only one who can't go :( one of my friends even lives in Berlin, so I could stay there but there's no chance my other friend (who I went to see SP and CP with last year) can go and it just wouldn't be the same without her (she'd probably kill me if I went alone :laugh3:) so, no concert for me either :\

I forgot to check cp.com every day and my computer always freezes when I try to open the gallery with all exhibits. Thank you all so much and thank you Anna for the message! Before AHMS came out, sp.com was under construction and you could only watch a video of people putting up the origami stars for the album cover. Does anyone have that video or can find it on youtube? I tried there but I couldn't find it.

I see your point.. I don't buy Best Ofs either when I already own all the studio albums. But Up To Now is really worth it I think, there are covers on it, new versions and live versions of songs, songs from the Reindeer Section, Signal Fire, which isn't on a studio album, well and the 3 new songs. And I often can't decide which album I want to listen to, so I can just put Up To Now in my cd player and get a bit from all of them :D Thanks for the videos and the setlist :) Sounds really different... the 'ohhohh' from Chasing Cars is stuck in my head now :D And they played Lifeboats! :stunned: I love that song.

ich bin leider auch noch in Deutschland... und bin auch sehr neidisch auf alle die jetzt bzw. morgen in Wembley sind :P meine Freundin (mit der ich in Düsseldorf war) wird am Sonntag 18, ich meinte schon zu ihr, wir müssen nach Wembley, da ist die größte Party überhaupt :D naja aber alles geht halt wirklich nicht. Was nach Wembley kommt, gute Frage... aber ist ja nicht so, dass Coldplay die einzige Band auf der Welt ist ^^

phew, we're finally back at home as well... God it was SO brilliant!! My friend and me had soooo much fun and although we were already exhausted before the concert, we just couldn't stop dancing and jumping. Volunteering for Oxfam was great too, except for the people who said to us that the world is beyond help and it's a waste of time to do something against it and crap like that :dozey: The other volunteers were impressed though with all the email-addresses (for the Oxfam-newsletter) we've got, so I think we weren't that bad :P We were standing in the front row, on Guy's side, we couldn't see a lot of the stage because we're so small and we were too far away for the butterflys, but we had such a great time there anyway. After the concert, we had to wait 5 hours until our train came. We were sitting on the stairs of the arena until we were asked to leave :laugh3:, walked around the building and then went to the central station. And then suddenly I felt really sick. I don't know why, maybe I ate something wrong or it was just the combination of it all, having not enough sleep and food during the day, travelling 5 hours in 5 trains, the exhausting gig... so we had to sleep in a hotel instead of staying up all night, which kinda makes me sad. We met aniskywalker at McDonalds and I really would've liked to stay there listening to her storys about signs and t-shirts and chocolate :D Also at McDonalds, a guy came to us and asked us how the concert was, so we told him how much fun we had. And then he said "Oh.. I've been to a Coldplay concert 6 years ago here in Düsseldorf and I wanted to see them again this time, but the tickets are so expensive... but it seems I missed out on something, right?" Oh yes he did! :P

(vorallem weil für diesen Sommer eigtl. ne Woche London geplant war, wir aber wegen der Schweinegrippe doch nicht geflogen sind..) aber mein Sommer bzw. dieses Jahr ist auch gerade jetzt mit Coldplay schon total genial, da darf ich nicht noch mehr erwarten :D

Meine Kamera wird mitkommen, aber ich werd mich kaum trauen, den Blick auch nur für eine Sekunde von der Bühne abzuwenden... bei Snow Patrol hab ich genau 2 Fotos gemacht ;D

ich denke nicht... kennen dort niemanden und in der Jugendherberge zu übernachten würde ja auch nochmal was kosten. Ich bin eigentlich dafür, dass wirs trotzdem machen, anstatt der Konzertkarte bezahlen wir halt die Fahrt... ist nur blöd dass wir mitten in der Nacht stundenlang in Düsseldorf sitzen (wenn unsere Mütter das wüssten =D)

danke :D Wir wissen jetzt aber immernoch nicht genau, ob das wirklich klappt mit dem Konzert... Laut der eMail von Oxfam endet das Konzert gegen 23.30 Uhr und wir müssen danach auch nochmal mithelfen. Über die genauen Zeiten, wann wir anfangen und wann wir gehen können, kriegen wir noch Bescheid. Der Zug um 23.41 Uhr wird zu früh sein und der nächste fährt erst wieder um 04.31 Uhr. Das Ticket gilt ja auch nur bis um 3 Uhr nachts... und ein neues erst wieder ab 9 Uhr, dh. da würde nochmal einiges an Kosten dazu kommen. :\ Wir wollen uns das wirklich nicht entgehen lassen, aber das klingt alles nicht so toll...

Danke für die Tipps! Vom Quer durchs Land Ticket wusst ich bis jetzt gar nichts, aber das wär ja wirklich ne Alternative. Ansonsten ist Zugfahren ja immer wahnsinnig teuer, trotz Bahncard. Auf Seiten von Mitfahrgelegenheiten haben wir auch schon geschaut, werd da jetzt auch mal ein Gesuch reinstellen. Aber wenn wir nichts finden werden wir wohl wirklich mit dem Zug fahren... dieses Ticket kommt ja wie gerufen! :D

Dann frag ich hier auch nochmal :) Gibt es ganz zufällig jemanden, der aus der Ecke Heidelberg/Mannheim zum Konzert fährt und 2 Leute mitnehmen kann? Nach Darmstadt oder Frankfurt könnten wir evtl. auch noch kommen.. Ne Freundin und ich hätten die Möglichkeit, für Oxfam mitzuhelfen und dann eben das Konzert zu sehen, nur müssen wir irgendwie nach Düsseldorf und zurück kommen.. =/

that was me :D hi everyone! It was my first concert and it couldn't have been more amazing. We were in the 2nd row and had such a great time and we met the band afterwards and got a photo with Gary. Someone requested 'Headlights' for the next concerts in Germany and my friend said "And 'You Could Be Happy'!" Gary promised to play Headlights and said to my friend "I'll make you happy!" :D He's such a nice guy. We'll upload our photos now (: The ones in here are all great! oh yeah, so annoying :dozey: and the other woman who wouldn't let your sister stand in the front :rolleyes:

oh, blöd mit dem Fahrrad... meins war so gut wie neu und hier im Dorf bin ich halt drauf angewiesen, darf jetzt erstmal überall hin laufen. ich komm aus BaWü ^.- heute erster 'Schul'tag, ich brauch ne Stunde bis dahin und dann hieß es, wir sollen den Namen vom Lehrer aufschreiben und dann können wir wieder gehn :thinking: da hätt ich auch im Bett bleiben können... und morgen gehts um halb 8 los, sehr schön mit meinem langen Weg..
