  1. I should have posted about this last night but I was too exhausted from getting out of the Forum. It was one hell of show for sure! Definitely more massive than the previous tours. I noticed they tweaked some things and changed it up a little bit- after seeing videos and hearing songs from the free gigs. It was worth it though. The band and the entire crew definitely exceeded expectations. We get to hear Will sing and Jonny gets some extra attention too with his guitar. Plus, they move about the arena so much that creates massive energy from the crowd. Really amazing show. Pretty surprised that the audience were singing along with the new songs- very cool. Also, I was reading LA Times blog. I actually met one photographer when we were doing the Oxfam thing. He did say that they were only allowed to shoot during "songs 3 & 4". I guess the security has their reasons. The woman in charge of security was on top of things and quite intense- I think they were just making sure everything would go smoothly.

  3. I just remembered the Gwyneth interview with Jonathan Ross where he asks her about the kids' names. And Gwyneth was like "It's not like calling a little girl "Sh*thouse"!" LOL Woman has a point. The name "Apple" seems to suit her.
  4. I'm 24 and been a fan since "Yellow" came out:)
  5. larissa CP- I think I prefer Guy as well. haha
  6. Joe Fiennes has very pretty eyes. Then again, so does Guy. haha
  7. WOW. That photo. hahahaha What's with the cowboy hat?
  8. Hahaha it probably is an American thing- I hear people use it all the time
  9. that interview was funny :) there's nothing wrong with "oftentimes" I think LOL
  10. I think it's really more of the general public's curiousity of celebs' personal lives. I guess this just works for them and it may have taken its toll when Chris got into that squabble with that man outside the hospital after Gwyneth was taken in. Actually, maybe it's really just about the amount of money a paparazzo can make if he/she gets away with snapping even just one photo of a high profile couple/family. Some of these paps dont deserve the money they make at all- especially that some are pretty rude, ruthless, and dangerous. Some celebs just dont want to bother with giving them that satisfaction. And who knows, maybe one day they'll loosen up a bit. LOL
  11. Yup! I'm pretty sure there will be other celebs there too. I'm actually shocked I got the LA show one. I signed up for LA and San Jose but I thought the LA show would be more difficult to get. Melanieau- Crossing my fingers for you for the Orlando show! :)
  12. Definitely! it should be really fun, especially since it's their first show in the West Coast. I was able to score some floor tickets for their San Jose show on the 18th.
  13. Wow you are TALL! I'm only 5"3 so I could use the high heels. It does get a little easier with a drink or two. Haha. Btw, I just have to share with somebody that I got an email from Oxfam last night- Will be a volunteer at the first LA show next week. YAY! IM SO EXCITED!
  14. I'm with Gwyneth on this one but the higher the better when it comes to heels. :D
  15. LOL Mimi- is this a tag team or what? I should delete mine. haha
  16. And of course, some JustJared photos: http://justjared.buzznet.com/2008/07/08/gwyneth-paltrow-estee-lauder-sensuous/#more-57671
  17. Everytime she steps out looking like she's "bloated", she's automatically pregnant:laugh3: I mean don't we all have THOSE days? LOL Wish she was at the NYSE bell ringing though.
  18. Pretty ridiculous- all this press about Alex Rod and Madge. But hey speaking of Chris, I saw this blog off google: Gwyneth Paltrow does some promotional work for Estee Lauder in New York. Her husband, Chris Martin, spoke out about odd baby names, stating, "People make a big fuss over names. Names of babies, names of albums, names of bands. There’s nothing weird about calling your baby Chewbacca if that’s what you want to call your baby. It’s no stranger than Sarah. A name is just a noise, and if you like it, then f--k what everyone else says." DON disagrees. Chewbacca is definitely stranger than Sarah. I bought a fish on my lunch break today and named him Rodney, which still far more sensible a name than Apple. http://dayoldnews.blogspot.com/2008/07/gwyneth-paltrow-in-nyc.html
  19. :laugh3: guilty as charged! Gwyneth Paltrow joined fellow Estee Lauder beauties Elizabeth Hurley, Carolyn Murphy and Hilary Rhoda this afternoon for a special in-store meet and greet at New York City's 59th Street Bloomingdale's. Gwyneth mysteriously missed an earlier appearance with the gals this morning at the New York Stock Exchange. Instead, photographers snapped her visiting the apartment building of pal Madonna, who, according to published rumors, has been linked to baseball player Alex Rodriguez. Madonna has denied any affair with the divorcing Yankee. Gwyneth was all smiles but didn't do interviews as the spokesbabes signed autographs and promoted their new fragrance "Sensuous." 21. I'll be there as well on the 14th! Volunteering for Oxfam!!! :D
  22. I'm guessing the Martin family is in NYC until the first show in LA next week. Pictures of Gwyneth going into Madonna's NYC flat earlier today: More at JustJared.com http://justjared.buzznet.com/2008/07/07/gwyneth-paltrow-march-madonna/#more-57361
  23. Just got floor tickets the other day! I am VERY excited! These tickets made my month LOL
  24. May have been posted but I thought it was pretty cool: "There's brilliant jazz – Miles Davis. And there's brilliant rock – Coldplay. And there's brilliant rap – Jiggaman!" – Jay-Z, tooting his own horn and defending his recent headlining appearance at England's traditionally rock-based Glastonbury Festival, to MTV from people.com
