  1. will there be enough water is a very good track
  2. great lyrics in that song
  3. yes anything after and including bringing it all back home id include as a band, but it doesn't matter bob dylan is so awesome he can be included whether as a band or not.
  4. i mostly don't pay attention to review, i mean the new kasabian cd didn't get universally good reviews and i liked it, and dig out you soul got some bad reviews and i loved that. Who's to say the person reviewing it doesn't have some bias against the band and is therefore judging the cd based on that (ie Dig Out you soul 2.5 on rolling stone because they stiffed them over a photoshoot or somthing in the 90s), whilst rolling stone throws out 4 stars for jonas brothers albums because theyre tryin to sell more magazines to young girls. I'll look at the reviews but mostly ill decide whether i like it or not myself. I dont put to much stock in reviews(especially music reviews).
  5. just downloaded the single off of itunes, alittle dissappointed i couldnt pre order the album and get it free...but anyway i like the song, its different and i cant wait to hear the rest of humbug
  6. didn't john hate msh, i think he said it was "another one of Paul's grandad songs" or something like that.
  7. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTShsu_uCfo&feature=related]YouTube - Nickelback sucks[/ame]
  8. nirvana-in utero, bob dylan-the freewheeln bob dylan...both of these have very thoughtful lyrics and both are classics that if you haven't heard before you should now.
  9. out of the poll= thom yorke, all time kurt cobain, freddie mercury, johnny rotten
  10. two favs are thriller and smooth criminal, but thriller is so brilliant and iconic it has to be number one for me.
  11. nobody will ever top thriller and the video for it, truly revolutionary, RIP.
  12. haha spain thought they were gonna just walk in and win. when the us play their young stars they are good. sorry off topic
  13. i think they are going alot heavier, and that wouldnt be the last shadow puppets.
  14. ^great sig,,,how bout the us beating spain...Go US!
  15. i don't think anybody said that ok computer wasn't great. but ok computer was not the greatest rock album of the 90s, either musically which was Agaetis Byrjun or culturally which was nevermind. my personal favorite of the decade was in utero and that isn't even on the list so.
  16. i like the bends personally better than ok computer.
  17. i understand that many people dont like oasis, either musically or because they are arrogant. but all musicans at that level are arrogant, the gallagher brothers just dont bother to hide it. If your thinking that thom yorke doesnt have a massive ego, then you mistaken. and based on the recent gigs oasis are still very important to alot of people.
  18. i know this forum is full of radiohead diehards, and i too love alot of radiohead albums and songs, but they were not as culturally important as nirvana or oasis...that is a fact. its similar to comparing bands like pink floyd and the beatles, many people think that musically pink floyd was far better, but they were not as influential as the beatles. and in my opinion if im thinking of the best rock album that represents the 90s it is nevermind (although i like in utero better) and morning glory, not ok computer.
  19. yes. nowhere near as much as oasis(morning glory) and nirvana(nevermind). Ok computer is a great album, but radiohead was never the most important band or biggest band in the world. Oasis and nirvana both were for a time. Radiohead has always been a great band, but they didnt have a cultural impact. Tell me how they did if thats how you feel.
  20. i think it should be a combination of musical quality and cultural impact.
