nirvana-nevermind and oasis-morning glory/definitely maybe,,,ok computer is a great album, but the other ones defined the decade, ok computer did not.

yea that is the best part of the album i think, those 4 songs.

the beatles puts me in a good mood too, my favorite part of abbey road is when polythene pam turns into she came in through the bathroom window...love that part.

yeah, even well know stuff like the girl writing kurt smells like teen spirit on the wall and kurt using the line "here we are now, entertain us" when he walked into parties this person got wrong. If you can't get basic known facts right that how are people suppose to take your analysis of his lyrics seriously? lol

kind of, but i think that of moons, birds and monsters and the handshake are great. It really is a great album from start to finish except for future reflections.

this thread is pointless, everyone has their own opinions. so here are mine...sigur ros can't possibly be overrated. Nirvana is not overrated, they are rated just fine...producing 2 classic albums before they ended. The Beatles overall are better than pink floyd, but pf are also great. oasis are influenced by the beatles because they love the beatles, but they still make great songs/albums...just like coldplay is influenced by radiohead and u2 doesnt mean theyre not a great band in their own right. and arctic monkeys are not overrated in america atleast because i dont think many people have heard of them.

i can't believe there's a thread saying that radiohead, the smiths, oasis and nirvana are overrated, 4 of the most influential rock bands of all time. If these bands are overrated I would love to hear which bands people here think are great.
