Aliens like in Sci-Fi movies/TV Shows etc. ... not really, no. :P Aliens as in life forms (whatever they may look like), definitely. It would be kinda ignorant to think that earth is the only habitable planet in the whole universe.

Haha, I think I love the future more than I love the past or the present ... probably because I don't know it yet. :p I wanted to make a poll, but I couldn't come up with any answers but "Yes", "No", "Sometimes" ... so I just didn't do it. :uhoh: Hahaha ... actually I understand the Barbie part, because mine are still somewhere down in the cellar, because I just couldn't give them away (although I haven't looked at them in years). :awesome: I never thought I'd get this nostalgic ... I really wanted to go at the end of the time in Spain, because I just couldn't take it anymore ... I don't regret that, but I tend to push aside the negative moments more and more. Wow, that sounds kinda sad. I can't imagine what it's like to move all the time ... it must be hard to always leave the friends behind. Well, I arrived at the end of September so it was still quite warm ... more than 30°C, I think ... the October was really nice, but it got colder and colder in November. Nothing compared to the temperatures in Germany, but if you don't have any heating and there's always cold air coming through the leaky windows, then it gets quite cold. :P No, of course it's not the same as moving to another country and working there. I was just studying at the university and travelling as much as I could. I really miss discovering that beautiful country. Where in Portugal did you stay? :wacko: I'm just trying to learn Portuguese, but it's hard to differentiate between Portuguese and Spanish sometimes, because those languages are so similar. :disappointed: Nah, I'm 24, haha. I'm a little older already and I was in Spain when I was 22. :smiley: Hahaha, I just wanted to make you post again. :wacko: Hmm, I know that feeling, I don't think it's strange and I think everyone does that to a certain extent.

In the south, in Andalusia. :heart: To be exact in Jaén. The city itself is not that special, but it was less than an hour to Granada ... and I've been to that city so many times that I kinda started to take it for granted that I can just hop into the bus and spend some hours in Granada ... and I miss that, I think. Andalusia has so many amazing cities ... Sevilla is so wonderful too ... I have to see some of those places again. And I'm not afraid of being nostalgic, I usually just don't feel that way and maybe I've just now realised that that time in Spain had a bigger influence on me than I believed.

So I'm usually not the kind of person that goes around saying that I miss the good old times (maybe I'm a bit too young for that after all :p), but lately I've been feeling very nostalgic about the time I spent in Spain almost two years ago. I lived and studied there for 5 months and yes, I enjoyed it a lot, but I actually left almost a month earlier than planned, because I just couldn't live in that shitty flat of mine anymore (and the weather was awful). I was complaining to my flat mates all the time … "stupid shower", "why is there no warm water left?", "I REALLY NEED A HEATER, IT’S SO FREAKING COLD!!!11!!1!!1!" … although they were in the same situation. Now that I had a little "distance" and lots of time to think about it, I really miss a few things … especially the people, the landscape, the travelling and I feel like I have to go back soon. In fact I'm actually always close to tears when I think about my favourite places and I'm usually not a nostalgic person. What about you? Do you tend to feel nostalgic?
