Bought 2 more tickets to the 2nd show @ Giants Stadium, but this time, the cheap seats lol I can't afford to use any money in my account for the next few weeks now lol

My tickets arrived this afternoon! Now thinking of getting a ticket for 2nd show @ Giants Stadium, but this time a seat! lol

I'm pretty sure they'll add on extra dates, New York for sure. When the dates for the rest of the tour are announced, it'll be easier to speculate which shows may have extra shows. But for now, I'm happy with what I got. I still have 2 more tix to use up, so I'll be saving those for possible extra shows.

hehe I actually just came on here to ask if you were able to get decent tix with the Boots presale. Good! I got my GA tix for Giants Stadium in Sept. Now what to do for the next 6 months? lol

I'm in the second group of pre-sales, and our designated day is tomorrow, finally! Going for 2 GA tickets for Giants Stadium! Awesome that Muse is the special guest!

After having seen the U2 Vertigo DVD and U2:3D and everyone saying that they're best act to see live, I've been dying to see them in concert! Couldn't really make it for Vertigo so I'm not going to miss my chance this time around! Even if they're not huge U2 fans, I really want to take my sister (who at least loves The Edge lol) and my brother-in-law and my brother, so that they can experience seeing U2 live. I think they'd still at least appreciate the show and the awesome vibe.

Hmmm...I'm "scheming some scheme" right now...I can buy up to 4 tickets for up to 4 shows...I'll have to wait until I know when the presales are and if there are actually friends of mine who'd like to see U2 with me..

From what I understand based on the email and from the U2.com forum, pre-sales are divided into three groups, based on seniority. Horizon - Those people who've had a paid membership before Nov. '08 Breathe - Those people who bought membership between November '08 - March 8, 2009 Boots - Those with paid memberships after March 8,2009. Horizon and Breathe groups will be able to get presale tickets on the first and second days, respectively. Then after that, Boots group. So, you can still get a presale code but you won't be able to use it for the first 2 days of presales. Seeing as these are stadium concerts though, in general you can still get fairly good seats. But you mentioned going to Boston...that's probably one of the most packed shows I think.

Sept 24th - Giants Stadium, NJ! I don't care about what else is happening at that time, my butt is gonna be there! And yes, there are pre-sales, I just got my pre-sale code email. Don't know when yet I can use it though. But yay! So excited!

I haven't read through this thread yet, but I just wanted to say this season's pretty awesome! After every single episode so far I keep saying 'Damn, that was great. Now give me next week's preview!!'

Everyone seems to be loving this book but when I read it I was completely bored and I hardly remember what it was about. I must've missed something. Currently reading - People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks What an awesome book! If you liked The Da Vinci Code, well, this is like that, but so much better.:)

I disappeared for quite a while, but I've been keeping up with most of your comments on U2's new album via daily email digests. I have to admit, when I heard it on their MySpace I wasn't hooked right away. But after buying the album Tuesday and having it on repeat umpteenth times, I like it very much! I think this album's definitely one of those that you can't digest and appreciate in just one try. My favorite is ironically the one which I assumed I wouldn't like based on the song title, and that is "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight". I mean, really, what a mouthful lol But it's the one I'm most drawn to and I can't get the "Baby, baby, baby, I know I'm not alone" out of my head. It's my most favorite part, though seems a bit simple, I dunno, there's just something about the melody of that specific part that tugs at me. Others I love are "Breathe", "Magnificent", "No Line On The Horizon", "Fez-Being Born" I can't wait for the tour details! Hopefully I can manage to get tickets this time around and that my U2.com paid subscription will help me out with pre-sales!

I heard her debut album just came out. I will definitely have to check it out soon!

hehe just giggled a little. I'm watching PBS right now and they showed a preview for a documentary following Marco Polo's route, and in the background "Viva La Vida"..the Ohh Ooh Oooohhh part :D

With November approaching in a couple of days, I was just wondering if any of you on here are doing NaNoWriMo this year? Or have participated in the past? I've been wanting to do it for a couple of years now but haven't been bold enough to jump in the craziness that is writing 50,000 word novel in a month. For those who have done it, any tips? Did you get to 50,000 words? What did you write about?

I didn't really think it was a big issue since almost everyone stood up for the entire concert anyway. I think the only time I sat down was the mini intermission after the guys played in the one section and needed time to change and get back to the stage. Even then I was bouncing in my seat because of the sick Viva La Vida Techno Remix they were playing during the time.

So I guess Pete was the guy outside with the adorable accent! Here are the few pics I took that are somewhat discernible. This is when the guys came down the ramp by my section. I was freaking out that I was so close, yet annoyed bc I knew the pic wouldn't come out focused. But still, looks pretty cool I think lol I think I was the only one in the area I was sitting that knew these were coming. I think at one point I said 'YES!!' and the people around me must've been like "Huh?! What's she yessing about??....Ohh, butterflies!" The VIVA piano during breakdown And me at the end of the night.
