Why cant you just leave Fix you and Trouble in the setlist and expand it by around 5-8 songs like normal Headlining bands charging $100 a ticket.

16songs is ridiculous, I love coldplay but i just dont think i can justify $200 for two tix to see them in Houston for alittle over an hour. Maybe Ill change my mind if the setlist expands to actual Headline band levels of 24-26songs.

Good thing this is a free show, $100 a ticket for 16songs is highway robbery.

They did that select city promotional tour for the album and i was lucky enough to see them in a 2500 person venue (verizonwireless/aerial theater) in houston

Why are you making excuses for them. Every city has a curfew, why doesnt that stop every other big band from playing 20+songs? I wont be going this tour as 15song sets for $100 a ticket is absurd. Im not insane enough to think its about "Me" but the fact people actually justify the price with length of a show as being OK is whats insane. There is no reason they cant play 20+song shows a night..zero reason.

The best available seats are in the first 15seconds on an onsale, and then Day of Show via ticketmaster since that when the comped tickets get sent back from people not going to the show and you are able to get first 5 rows.

Bands with clout such as Coldplay have plenty to say in how much their promoter charges for tickets...dont be fooled.

True, as a fan you always want the band to play more, but 15 songs for a band charging $100 ticket is ridiculous and in my opinion price gouging. Radiohead plays 25songs a night, U2 the same, Pearl Jam the same, if you want to play with the big boys and charge more than they do you better play longer than 90minutes and 15songs. Just my vent.

Incubus setlists and song selections have pissed me off for years, thats another band I have a gripe with along with coldplay. once the tour starts and the shows are 90min, 15-16song sets, I think fans have all the rights to bitch about ticket price and lack of SHOW. They have 4 albums, play a freakin set. Its ok to bitch about your favorite band not bringing "it". I know on this board people will proclaim greatness no matter what coldplay does, but at $200 for two tickets you should expect and demand more from them.

What headliners are you going to see that only play 15-20songs? are they bands with only 1-2albums? Coldplay playing under 20song sets is inexcusable. Certainly the shows youre seeing arent Big Areana shows, since every band not named TOOL play over 20song sets.

I just read in the toronto forum coldplay charged someone top shelf price $100 a ticket for Upper Level. coldplay, i like you guys alot, but you should never be the most expensive touring band around.

They charge more than U2 and Radiohead for their premium tickets these days, their show should equal those bands in length. Radiohead is playing at minimum 24-25songs a show. U2 does the same. Coldplay is notorious for overcharging on their tickets and fans only getting to see 16songs. Coldplay, if your floor seats this tour cost over $100 (w/charges) ..FIX YOU better not be song 16 in the encore. Play for 2hrs or fucking charge $60 a ticket for your highend seats. the end

Ill be more annoyed when the $100 floor seat i buy only witnessess 16song setlists. you have 4 albums, play for 2hrs already...coldplays notorious short sets are what pisses me off.

with 4 albums and $100 a ticket (w/service charges) for floor seats, they better be playing close to 2hrs a show and 20songs atleast.
