I loooove Langston Hughes :wacky: I wrote an essay on this poem of his last year: I've known rivers: I've known rivers ancient as the world and older than the flow of human blood in human veins. My soul has grown deep like the rivers. I bathed in the Euphrates when dawns were young. I built my hut near the Congo and it lulled me to sleep. I looked upon the Nile and raised the pyramids above it. I heard the singing of the Mississippi when Abe Lincoln went down to New Orleans, and I've seen its muddy bosom turn all golden in the sunset. I've known rivers: Ancient, dusky rivers. My soul has grown deep like the rivers. he wrote that when he was my age :stunned: *stops being dorky.... for now* :P

I never wear skirts either, that's why I'm wearing it tomorrow :dance: In fact, when I mentioned to my boyfriend that I bought a skirt he was like ":stunned: but you NEVER wear skirts!" :P

really? haha I just remember telling you about general excitement, not that specific fact :P and yup! :)

cause my school is the BEST! :wacky: I have amazing teachers that I'm really close with, my classes are super interesting, and my school is just all-around awesome :dance: And I just like studying and learning stuff!
