Oh man, I've turned my friend into such a Coldplay freak now :D :D :D On the bus, whenever a Coldplay song came on her iPod she nudged me, pointed to her iPod and went "Coldplay!!!" :lol: Oh, I have lots of Coldplay stories from my trip... Anyway, my friend and I are going to have a Coldplay night too! It's going to be awesome :dance:

Riiiiight. :P Yeah, I can see the Capitol, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and some other stuff :thinking: And I can see the National Cathedral from my math classroom. All in all, it's a nice view to have when you feel like staring out the window and zoning out :lol: I know, I was so pumped! And I passed by him in the hall after I wrote it down on the sheet, and I waved it in his face and yelled "LOOK! I've been waiting for FIVE YEARS to write this!!", and he was like "I've been waiting five years for you to write it too!" :laugh3: :D

I nominated my 5 favorite albums! There were definitely not enough Beatles albums nominated, so I had to change that :smug: I had like 5 dollars, I was not going to spend it on Chase Utley shirts! :rolleyes: :P Yeah, and I've seen the Lincoln Memorial like 5 billion times in my life too. :dozey: I can see it from my classroom window, actually... OKAY random but on Thursday we got our course selection sheets for next year, and I was so excited because I FINALLY got to sign up for the class that I've been absolutely dying to take for 5 years!! It's taught by my teacher/mentor (the one I've told you about like 10 times :P), and it's all about philosophy, and meaning, and general awesomeness, and every year in my yearbook he's written a countdown for when I can take the class :P When I wrote it down on the selection sheet I got all teary :lol:

Yeah, it was so fun! I by mistake walked into a giant concrete blockade on the side of the road yesterday, though, and now have a huge cut and bruise on my leg and it hurts like hell! :bigcry: I think it also takes the prize for my clumsiest moment ever. :P I know, I'm excited! :nice: I've never really been asked out before! The trip was amazing! My school is so awesome... Every other school group got dragged on boring battlefield tours, but not my school! We played this intense war capture-the-flag type game where we had to climb all over the battlefield and find puzzle pieces and ambush everyone :lol: It was incredibly fun! And my side won :dance: And last night was super fun too, we got to just hang out in our rooms, so my friends and I bought a ton of junk food and ice cream and played cards in our room, and my... boyfriend (AH! that's WEIRD!) tried to teach me how to play poker :P yes Marisa, same guy :nice: He just asked me out when we got back from the trip, we're going to a movie this weekend :) And I don't want to post pictures of my friends on the internet without their permission! :uhoh:
