Yup, my prom is all-school, but they kick out the 7-10th graders at 10, and we get to stay until 12:30 :P And the middle-schoolers generally don't go anyway 'cause they know we don't want them there, plus they get their own middle school dances...

Sorry, back now, I was looking at beautiful dresses that I can't afford on anthropologie.com :P Two weeks! SO SOON. And my boyfriend (:wacky: that's fun to say) told me that he found out that our prom's gonna be at the National Aquarium... Oh, no, it was fine. We were careful :) We just had a lot of fun! :D When we first got there yesterday, we had a scavenger hunt on the field, and then we got to go back to the hotel and just hung out, which was really fun too :dance: "the boy" tried to teach me how to play poker, but I didn't get it so he basically just played for me... And I've now discovered that I have reallllly bad luck when it comes to poker :P edit: We have a whole club at my school devoted to Mystery Science Theater 3000 :lol:

a) I just went on a class overnight, and apparently on the bus' radio on the way up, the DJ was talking about how you could win backstage passes to the upcoming Coldplay concert... I was dead asleep (but still listening to Coldplay on my iPod, of course), but when I woke up my teacher (who was also driving the bus) told me that he called into the radio trying to win the passes for me :lol: b) So then on the bus ride back today, I was listening to my iPod (again, Coldplay obviously), and VLV came on the bus radio... All of a sudden everyone on the bus started yelling at me "ZOE!!! IT'S COLDPLAY!!! LISTEN!" :P and then someone else was like "she's probably already listening to them on her iPod!" :laugh3:

Okayyy, fine, I said "Oh, I'm Confederate? *is dismayed*" How's that? :P But it was really funny when we won, cause we all stood at the top of Devil's Den and yelled out "THE SOUTH HAS RISEN AGAIN!", and all of the other people getting tours were like :stunned: :lol:

Yeah, that's why they were cheating! The teachers wanted it to be slightly accurate so they were trying to make it impossible for us to win :lol: See, one of the teachers had our flag, and they made him go back to the hotel so our flag wasn't even on the battlefield, and therefore we couldn't win :angry: So we called him fake-crying, pretending that we were lost in the forest, and when he got back we took the flag :dance: I mean, no one really cared because it was more just a general competition than a North vs. South battle... But at first I was like "ew, South??" :P

Ooooh, CONGRATS! Yeah, we did Pickett's charge, but I stepped in a giant puddle past my ankles and my Chucks filled up with water :sick: :lol: The flag we had to capture was at the top of Devil's Den, but we kept hiding the Union's flag (I was Confederate) because they were cheating, so I ended up running up and down that hill in Devil's Den at least 8 times :lol: And then we won! It was SO FUN, though, and it was beautiful out too! edit: To Tracy. Welcome back again, John! :nice:

Hahahahaha, don't worry :P By the way, Gettysburg was awesome! My history teachers put together this giant war game thing where we got dropped off at random points around Little Round Top and had to do all this stuff, run all over the battlefield and ambush each other, and basically play a giant, very complicated version of capture the flag... Now that's a history lesson! :lol:
