Math always looks much scarier if you panic! If you just take your time and work carefully, it always works out. 'Cause it's math... it's supposed to :P (And this is coming from someone who despises math and used to panic all the time!)

*clears throat, starts long story* So on Friday I had this really difficult Chemistry test, and I was really proud of myself because I felt like I did well! I finished within the class period, but most kids didn't and had to finish after school. All the Chemistry classes are in the morning, so there was a lot of time between class and after school... So today, I show up for class (a block period, so it's 80 minutes long) and my teacher goes, clear off your desks, we need to talk. And I'm like "WTF"? And this is my crazy Chemistry teacher, remember? So he says "a lot of kids took advantage my trust by restudying for their Chemistry tests before they finished them after school. I already have a list of kids who I think did it, but as punishment everyone is retaking the test cold right now, and this one is going to count." And I was like "what the hell? I didn't even have to finish the fucking test after school, I finished it in the class period! This in no way applies to me!", and I brought that up and he was just like "I don't care, everyone gets the same punishment." So I was freaking out, and of course I didn't do well because I hadn't studied or thought about it for 3 days, and I was really fucking angry. And it just pisses me off so much, because this is basically the story of my life at my school. These fucking slackers can't get off their lazy asses to do any work, and as a result I get screwed over, and I work incredibly hard and get straight A+'s. AHHH! Those MORONS! :veryangry2:

Oh wait, do you mean National Honors Society? Yeah, I go to private school so we don't do that. I just take on a lot of extra work at school because I (usually) like it. But my sister was in National Honors Society and was miserable! :P

Marisa, if you legit have a panic attack, what I do is lie face down on my bed, put some quiet Coldplay on my iPod, and just breathe for a few minutes... Works every time, just don't fall asleep! ;)

:huh: NHS? Marisa, I can take your mind off of it by telling you what happened in my Chemistry class today, it was awful! (there might be some cursing, though, cause I'm super angry :veryangry2:)

Ugh, I have to go eat dinner even though I'm not hungry, be back soon!

I usually get about 3 hours of sleep per night too :\ But on weekends I get like 10...

oh, I forgot to share that I finished Shakespeare in Love and it was great! I hate romantic movies, but I really enjoyed this one :D

yeah, right now I'm trying to pull out specific lyrics. :thinking: It's all still very vague, seeing as I just completely switched around my project about 20 minutes ago when I first thought of this :P And Marisa: I'm not tired right now because I always do my best creative writing past midnight, so at the moment I'm writing like crazy! Seriously, it's really weird- I can't get anything before midnight, but after that it's like a tidal wave of ideas. :stunned:

To elaborate a little: I'm pulling random people out of a picture I took of the crowds at the inauguration, and describing their experiences/emotions at the inauguration. Eeek, I can't explain it very well. :\ But I've decided to weave all of the stories together by (Coldplay) song lyrics, so I needed optimistic ones! *tries to figure out how to explain project better*

*has another epiphany* OMG. "we live in a beautiful world". PERFECT! *starts typing like mad*

Well, in my English class we have this colossal project that's been going on since January. It's a sort of design-your-own-Transcendentalism-project thing, and I designed myself this multi-part creative writing assignment... And I've just had an epiphany! I've figured out a way to work Coldplay into it :D So I need you guys to help me list all Coldplay songs with optimistic/inspiring/uplifting lyrics. So far I have LIJ, Everything's Not Lost (of course), and Help is Round the Corner. What other ones are there?
