The real player link on the site doesn't work for me, but the radio player one works perfectly! But just in case it breaks, how do I listen through the toolbar? I don't see any blue part anywhere...

Haha! People ARE coming up with some pretty desperate ideas... Maybe they'll just look inside your bag instead of really searching it, at all of the Smithsonian museums they just poke the interior of your bag with a wooden stick... Makes you feel really safe. :rolleyes: But for our sakes lets hope that's all they do! And I'd say bags are the safest bet.. They make you take them off if there's a walk-through metal detector, and the won't have x-ray machines, so...

Yeah, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to sneak my camera into the Verizon Center... The problem is that I don't know what they security's like there, since I haven't been to a concert there for a while. However, since it's in DC where everyone is ridiculously paranoid, I'm guessing the security is high/thorough :\ . (I was actually roped into a crime scene today where there was a "suspicious package"- They blocked off the whole area that I was in, and of course the box was empty! :rolleyes: )

Yeah, I have no idea why they're so expensive :confused: The Strawberry Swing one was a bit disappointing (I was hoping for the last part of the song), but seeing as it's my favorite track off of the album, I had to get it. I'll probably end up with VLV at some point too, but seeing as I already wasted 6 dollars... I figured that I needed one ringtone for calls and one for texts, right? ;)

Haha, it's okay, I was really interested to see which parts they picked too! I know I got really excited when I first discovered which part of Everything's Not Lost they used... A good ringtone is essential to life, I think. Well I can tell you that Strawberry Swing starts right after the first verse, Viva la Vida is the last chorus, and 42 is the last 3rd of the song... Other than that I don't really remember.

Yeah, I was thinking about it too, that's why I was so surprised when they were actually there! Well they might not have Reign of Love, but that's not too catchy anyway, is it? They even have The Escapist... I myself got Strawberry Swing and 42, although I liked Viva la Vida too- so many choices! (And just stuff your phone and head under a pillow :P )

So I found this rather odd, seeing as the album isn't even out over here, and I figured I'd post it... I was getting bored with my ringtone (Verizon, by the way), so I went and looked at the choices, and I discovered that they already have the entire album in ringtone form! Not the weird electronic ones, but the true tones or whatever they call them. So if anyone with Verizon wants the ringtone that Chris keeps saying Life in Technicolor is designed for, go ahead! I personally thought the 42 one was pretty cool.

Good interview, but a really positive review- it seems like the American press isn't having as much of a Coldplay backlash as England is! Guess we'll see for sure when it finally comes out over here...

Hear, hear! That's what I've been thinking! And that Yahoo screenshot is embarrassing- Tim Russert dies and they're focusing on Chris having a bad day (or whatever happened to him during the interview)?!

Just got the magazine today (4.50, by the way? Magazine prices are getting crazy)... I really enjoyed the interview, but I wish it was longer! I kept flipping through trying to find more, but alas, I found nothing. I loved the ending about the movie and tribute concert, though! The review was sort of odd... I agree that the last paragraph was really off. I was reading it trying to see why it only got 3 1/2 stars, because it sounded like at least a 4 or 4 1/2 star review until that point. But saying that the album sounds like Christian rock and there's a lack of clear political messages... huh? Especially after that interview where Chris explained where the lyrics of Violet Hill came from. I guess maybe if you can't understand the metaphors...?

That's why that E! article I stumbled upon got under my skin. They said he "stormed out" and "threw a hissy fit" and a "tantrum". What interview were THEY listening to? It was completely misrepresented... ugh. Sometimes the media just makes me so angry that I want to throw my TV out the window!

Ew, I was just surfing for Coldplay news (hooray Google news!), and now E! has discovered the story. Of course, E! is complete and utter crap, but the story was so twisted and over the top that I posted a response :P

I agree with whichever person pointed out that they always insult Chris (and Apple)... What does that have to do with music? No wonder the guy walked out of an interview yesterday- I'd hate to deal with the press if they always bashed me! Ah well, it's not like I've ever viewed the Daily Mail as the epitome of good journalism... I'll just shrug this article off, because ultimately, who really listens to the opinions of a newspaper music critic?

Yikes. That was rather awkward.... Well, I think: a) Chris did not pull off his "melon" joke very well, and it probably wasn't the right place for that joke! b) That interviewer did seem pretty pushy/ looking for what he wanted to hear, and Chris has said how nervous he was for the album release, so it just wasn't a good mix. Plus I know I'M sick of these questions about the album title, I'm sure they're going insane! c) There's obviously a lot edited out, so it's hard to understand what went on. I have to admit it was sort of funny when Will said "I don't think so" when the guy asked if he upset him...

Hallelujah! It's so embarrassing to be an American in foreign countries these days... When I was in England in February I told them I was Canadian! I should just walk around with an Obama sticker on my forehead when I'm back there this summer...

Hooray, I knew Chris would like Obama! *double thumbs-up* Can't wait to read the rest of the article... Rolling Stone makes me really annoyed sometimes, but their interviews are always wonderfully long.

I'm just frustrated because I've been waiting for YEARS to go to my first Coldplay concert, and now I'm cutting it really close! The 7/2 date was great, but now it's 8/3, which is the day I get home from England... So if any of my flights are delayed, I am SCREWED. Plus the jetlag's going to be terrible. But it's worth it, right?? And I've been so worried that they were just going to cancel it, I'm SO grateful that they didn't. I feel badly for Omaha- we took their date! Plus I'm holding my breath waiting for them to change the date AGAIN, in which case I can't go, seeing as I've already changed my flights around once...

You don't think they'll change the dates around again, do you? I just rescheduled my flights, and now I'm sort of regretting doing it so quickly!

I agree with all of the people who point out that you still get to go... Who cares if you have to wait? I just feel badly for the people who have no concert at all now. Luckily there's about an 80% I can still make mine, but...

I fell in love with this song the second I first heard it- It's definitely my favorite track of the album! The last part is just AWESOME, and I always need to blast my iPod at that point.
