yeah... it'd be nice if we got the 30-second preview, too :P I hope the boys realize that secrecy or not, they're gonna have to start giving answers re: release dates, etc soon. They can't do all of these festivals and release a single without giving anyone any information....

one dude was like "my friend heard it and said it was like 7 minutes long" and then some other dude randomly showed up and was like "LIAR it's only 4:03!" and then they kept calling each other liars till someone pointed out that the track is 4:03 on Amazon. then this OTHER dude was like "the 4:03 version is online :sneaky:" and here we all are. :P

maybe :shrug: I'm not sure I'm gonna risk it, it comes out in 8 hours anyway :P

Do we know exactly when each of those stations will be playing the song, other than "sometime after 11.30am"? or is it just going to be a game to see which one plays it first? I already have to wake up at 6:30AM for this, I'd rather not be jumping from radio station to radio station :P

*frustrated sigh* my my, this thread has gone a bit snarky, hasn't it? personally, I am feeling VERY excited. Yes, the lyrics are a bit... eh... but we all know that Coldplay's lyrics aren't like Arcade Fire's or something. Realistic expectations, guys. :thumbsup: just not sure why they decided to release them independently of the music. Besides, look at something like Fix You, that has lyrics like "if you never try you'll never know", and yet the song itself still gets thousands of people screaming at a concert, and my mom can't listen to the song without crying. Lyrics only do so much... If you disagree, look at a song like Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros- that song is fucking beautiful, and I can't even understand what they're saying! (and they're actually saying stuff like "I breathe through my nose", so... :P)

I'm wondering if they actually defaced public property for that photo shoot? :P oooooh, Coldplay's getting rebellious :lol:

It must be nice to finally be able to talk about something instead of keeping it all secret :P now I can tell someone directly in the Coldplay camp: bravo on the whole ETIAW campaign this week! I looooooved it :) Anywayyyyyyyyyyy, I just ran downstairs screaming "NEW COLDPLAY SINGLE FRIDAYYYYYYY THEY'RE BACK THEY'RE BACK" and my mother thought there was a fire, and my cat ran away hissing at me... I forgot how scary I can be in Coldplay fangirl mode :P

not buying the whole "mnemonics murals" business- it was just a youtube comment, guys! And it hasn't been deleted! However, I've thought for months that the "M" in the supposed title would have something to do with the word "mural", so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case :)

Also, can I just say- MAD PROPS to their marketing people, I think this has been done very well. love how the last lyric we get in the last(?) video is the title, it seems, and the buildup of visuals and sound... very well done. :thumbsup:
