  1. LOLz Awwwww Liz. Jonas is a sweetheart for talking to you
  2. Crests...have you been drinking..? [/stern parent voice]
  3. *thinks there should be a :dick: smilie here*
  4. Why...what does he suck...? Cough sweets? Ice lollies? Those stripey little mint humbug things that nearly break your teeth if you try to bite them?
  5. Correct....
  6. Nope... newer than that :D
  7. I put Mew on my mixtape - have a guess which one ;)
  8. Woah That's mine! - altho you weren't the person I was supposed to make it for  I guess the person who's name I was given must have bowed out or gone awol...but no matter....soooo glad it got reviewed  I'm glad you liked it overall - I guess I did go for a Brit-rock kinda feel, the criteria for the selections was that the songs had to be rocky and upbeat, with some good energy :D And yeah the crazy frog thing was there to throw ya... ;) it's a good job you mentioned it cos I might not have recognised my tape otherwise (ssh, don't tell anyone, but I haven't been reading *all* of the reviews..:uhoh:... :P). So, the tracklist: 01. I liked this one :nice: Something about "fucking in the alley" and I was like ooooohhhh :surprised: I knew I was gonna like it... I also enjoyed the chorus very much makes me wanna get up and throw my hands in the air and dance -----> Very upbeat sex song, I'm guessing, hahah  Julie & The Moth Man - Kasabian 2009 (b-side from Underdog single) Yup, very sexy, very upbeat...incredibly this was a b-side (I love when bsides end up being really good) but they've recently been using it as a set-opener on tour. It's amazing int it? I love the lyrics - I am the mothman, I wanna eat right thru your clothes :D | | 02. Mew, right? Funny story: I just got this album like a few days ago :p New Terrain - Mew - 2009 (from album No More Stories etc) Yup, Mew - correct! It's such a good album and this is the opening track (the one that's playable backwards and forwards, this is the forwards version!) | | 03. "Tell me why does the river not flow" DUN DUN DUN!!!!!! I'm strangely attracted to this song :wacky: I have reasons to believe I would not like this but yet I'm liking it...I know it makes no sense but... The Riverboat Song - Ocean Colour Scene 1996 (from album Moseley Shoals) haha This is a classic, fair few years old now. Amazing beginning and guitar riff, it can't fail to get your foot tapping. This was like an anthem to the weekend at the time it came out. Timeless classic | | 04. I like the starting beat... It sounds so familiar but I'm 100% sure I've never heard it before... I dunno, It keeps the same beat throughout but it's pretty good :nice: Stellify - Ian Brown - 2009 (from album My Way) Oooo glad you liked this, I was nervous about adding this, cos Ian Brown is quite an aquired taste. I think the guy is a legend, but not all his music is quite as good as it could be. The piano beginning is incredible tho & this song is really uplifting - makes me wanna go marching ;) | | 05. Oooooh I liked this one from the moment it started! "I dunno what to do, I dunno what to do..." Makes me think of like Disco era and I wanna dance   Learn To Lose - Hockey - 2009 (from album Mind Chaos) American band, they sound so young & unwashed... :) I really like this album, very fresh & upbeat, but has a surprising variety of styles thru it. I think this was one of the singles, there's a couple of other good ones - Song Away is also quite disco-ey) | | 06. Hmmm, there's potential of me completely hating or really liking this song. It's gonna be definite grower if the latter. I mean, it's not baaaaaaaddd but  Buck Rogers - Feeder - 2001 (from album Echo Park and best of album The Singles) I know what you mean, Feeder are one those bands you can get kinda indifferent to. This is one of their better singles, half standard rock fare, half completley nuts  If you not sure about this one, try youtubing for the acoustic version - it's very nice. | | 07. Very sweet song, kinda inspirational..."My light shines on!!!" I really like the Choir singing in the background <3 Movin' On Up - Primal Scream - 1991 (from album Screamadelica) This song is stunning. The oldest track on the mix, maybe sounds a little dated but still pretty incredible. Screamadelica is one of those classic, iconic, must-own albums. | | 08. This is like a remake of a Christina Aguilera :o I like it... I like it very much :surprised: :guitarist: Genie In A Bottle - Speedway covering Christina Aguilera - 2003 (from album Save Yourself) heehee Yup a cover of Aguilera's Genie in A Bottle by short-lived Scottish band, Speedway - I think this was pretty much the only hit they had! A *huge* improvement on the original if you ask me ;) | | 09. Ehhh... For some reason I found it a bit annoying. It seems like something I would play when I mad and trying to trash my room from the rage hahahah! I'll Give You Sympathy - The Rascals - 2008 (from album Rascalize) *sigh* I'm sure there's only me on the whole planet that likes The Rascals :P Miles Kane's (of Last Shadow Puppets fame) other previous band, he's since gone solo, so this was their only album and it wasn't much of a hit. It's kinda grungey and dirty, personally I like it way better than any Arctic Monkeys album but...it's just me on that one hahaha :) | | 10. I WANTED TO SHOOT THE SINGER there for a little while but then all of the sudden (!) I started to like the song... And I found myself nodding my head along to it wishing I knew the lyrics so I could sing along xD Papillon - The Airborne Toxic Event - 2008 (from album The Airborne Toxic Event) heehee I know what you mean about the guy's voice..bit droney, bit intense...very American. I like this album tho some of the songs get a bit morose. Listen to Sometime Around Midnight tho - it's beautiful. | | 11. Hmm... interesting song, but I didn't like this one very much  Dreaming Of You - The Coral - 2002 (from album The Coral) Ahhh, The Coral....much underated/underloved band. I just think their style and influences are incredibly varied, but they can be a little hit & miss. One of their early ones :shame: sorry you didn't like it.. | | 12. Kinda soothing music, AAAAAaahhh oh oh oh!! I like it :wideeyed: Really awesome song :D :D Action/Reaction - Choir Of Young Believers - 2009 (from album This Is For The White In Your Eyes) These are great, saw them supporting Mew last November & loved them. Another Danish band but the singer/songwriter is half Greek too. Very beardy folk, lots of cello. Try looking for Why Must It Always Be This Way or Next Summer...both gorgeous songs :) | | 13. The lead singer was sorta Fleet Fox-like but the music was completely different, nevertheless, I enjoyed the song very much :nice: Cards & Quarters - Local Natives - 2009 (from album Gorilla Manor) I saw a blog post somewhere that likened them to the Fleet Foxes and as there are a few other bands I've liked with FF comparsions, I thought I'd give these a listen too - was not disappointed. It's a fantastic album, really good. This one was instantly my favourite track off the album (digging the percussion), but really they are all good. Kind of Fleet Foxes meets Simon & Garfunkel. Can't reccommend it enough. | | 14. Ooh! an acoustic guitar!...and WHOOOAAA! I <3d this song :D it's really upbeat and fun and :awesome: Don't Look Back Into The Sun - The View covering The Libertines - 2003 (from compilation album Radio 1 Est. 1967) Not a big fan of The Libertines & I find The View a bit hit & miss, but this cover version is fantastic. Starts quite mellow and then kicks off and then gets really wild by the end. | | 15. Meh. I didn't like it... at all... Processed Waterfall - Kasabian vs. The Stone Roses - 2005 (from Green Street Hooligans soundtrack) Waaaah. I adore this track, but I guess it's quite an aquired taste. Two of my fave bands combined into one song! The lyrics of Processed Beats by Kasabian added to the music of the very superb Waterfall by The Stone Roses. Listen to both these songs individually cos they are genious. | | 16. I think I know what this is... I've heard it before... omg ...omg ...It's Oasis :), right?! Omg... I love this song... I dunno if I have it... it's quiet beautiful, The Masterplan <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Wonderful way to end the mixtape!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Masterplan - Oasis - 1995 (originally b-side from Wonderwall single, also appears on b-side compilation album The Masterplan) Yeah, you got it. I kinda went off Oasis after the first few albums, but I still maintain this is the best song they've ever done. And it's got to be the best b-side ever too. (I had the Wonderwall single at the time and played this track more than I played the A-side) Thought it made the perfect closer. | | Wow, I seem to have written quite an essay. Really glad you liked (most) of it. This is the full list: This is the d/load --> Crazy Frog presents Crazy Hits and a d/load link for the same mix with correct tags - Tagged version

I'm gonna find out about Delakota tho, sounds interesting, I'd like to hear more. And I'm sure I have a Furries album knocking around somewhere that I've barely listened to, perhaps I should dig it out :D Thanks :)
