  1. I would love to buy a few of these patches. Who do I contact to transact?
  2. Well, that's a hassle. I took pics with my phone at the show in Phoenix back in November from about the same distance as your photo and I have pics that look almost identical to yours even though it's a different city, different state, different show, etc. My point is, they would probably come back to you saying that anyone could have taken that photo, even though it was yours and you gave them permission to use on their website. Just sayin'.
  3. I agree with you in all totality. Anger towards the band is ill-placed in this situation. They have no control over what the security/ticket takers/distributors will or will not do at the show. Yeah, it sucks that people attended a show and missed out on a really nice gift like this, but to draw a direct line to Chris Martin because he verbally promised it from the stage seems unfair, IMO.
  4. I have to respectfully disagree. I'm not a huge fan of live releases because so few bands are really that good live to begin with these days. I love the experience of going to the show; listening to a playback of a show I wasn't at...not so much. I think 42 is my favorite track and the booming bass when the percussion starts in the intro just gives me chills. Death Will Never Conquer is a gem based on Will Champion singing vocals. Kind of hard to knock that endeavor. With all due respect, that's a really harsh critique. Ha-evah....everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
  5. There are several places - just about anywhere on your back can be concealed. Hips and tummy are easy to conceal. Shoulderblade also easy to hide unless you choose to wear a tank. Tops of your feet also.
  6. Ahh, the greed and injustice. I think that because last night was the first offering of the free physical disc, the thieving ebayers may have a brief heyday. As the tour progresses and more discs are distributed at the shows, the urgency will level off a bit.
  7. I listened to LRLRL all night last night and it gets me choked up and chilled remembering the show I attended in November. I cried then, I cried again last night. A great companion piece would be a live DVD, methinks.
  8. A Rush Of Blood To The Head.
  9. I haven't seen HWSTW - how did you get it DVR'd? From what broadcast?
  10. Yes, it said release date of May 5 and I thought it would be a preorder, but it let me purchase the digital download of the whole album. I got it from http://www.dominorecordco.com.
  11. Jon Hopkins' new release, "Insides" I purchased and downloaded the new release from Jon Hopkins last night and it is truly brilliant. I love his work with Coldplay on VLV and thought he was really good live as well. After I snagged the free download last week, I was hooked. To all who enjoyed the free download, I encourage you to get the entire album. You won't be disappointed.
  12. That sounds very cool. I'd love to see a pic. I'm pretty much covered in tattoos, lost count a long time ago and I've got a full sleeve going on my left arm. Anyway, I would love a Coldplay tattoo and I can't find any particular image that represents them that would translate well into a tattoo. I don't think I'd be able to narrow down any favorite lyrical phrase because I love them all.
  13. Yeah, right up until the moment I got rolled under a bus along with two other people for asking to be put on the list. Totally uncalled for...
  14. Excuse me? I've been an official member of this board since June of last year and have been perusing here for quite some time before that. Just because I don't have a post count in the thousands doesn't mean I showed up here just to get a free album, which by the way, is free to begin with. If you check my stats, you can see my previous post asking if anyone would like to sell a spare, as I would rather give money to a fellow Coldplayer versus an ebayer. I didn't realize when I posted on that thread that I was going to be scrutinized and would have to defend myself. That remark above.... that is why I rarely ever post on message boards.
  15. Please add me to the list - vespagirl (USA). Thanks ever so much! P.S. List for needing a spare, not having one. Thanks again.
