  1. Got home from this show a little while ago. SO GOOD!!! Everything was beautiful, as usual. At the end of the show, the girl two seats over from me turned to me and said, "Wow! You knew EVERY word to EVERY song!" I don't get why you'd pay over $100 to see a band when you don't know every word to every song and they haven't been your favorite band going on 9 years now. Sometimes it's hard when your favorite band in the world also happens to be one of the biggest bands in the world.
  2. I'd get there around 7:30/8 for this show. I saw the opening acts on Saturday with them, and the first one was just alright. Amadou et Miriam are wonderful though! So be sure to get there in time for them. They're the perfect sunset-on-a-hot-day band.
  3. Man, I'm so excited for this show! I'm also happy to hear that gates don't open til 7:30am to begin lining up. I was gonna go friday, but now I'll be able to go to the beach instead! haha. So is everyone with GA tix pretty much planning on getting there around 7:30 to start lining up? We should bring some games or something. 12 hours in the sun is a long time.
  4. Hey guys. Is anyone driving out there from Seattle? My boyfriend and I are going to the show, but we're flying into Seattle the day before. I'm not quite sure how we're getting out to the venue, but it would lovely to go with a fellow Coldplayer! Let me know if any of you have any extra room!
  5. I have a pair of tickets for this show if anyone's interested. Section A row 40. PM me if you're interested.
  6. I've seen Coldplay 7 times and 5 of those times was by myself (2 of them volunteering with Oxfam). One of those times was the year they played Coachella. I drove out there and spent the whole day by myself and had a great time! Every time I see Coldplay, whether with friends or not, it's wonderful. Sometimes I like to go by myself because I just turn into a total goof when I'm listening to them, and I don't want my friends to be embarrassed by me (because they have to deal with that enough whenever they come on the radio or my ipod). Haha. I'm seeing Coldplay 3 (maybe 4) times this summer. I'm making my boyfriend go with me to one of the shows, but we're making a road trip out of it. The other 2 (possibly3), I'm going totally by myself and I know I'm going to have an AWESOME time!
  7. I have tickets for two different shows: 1. The Gorge in Washington. A pair of tickets Section A row 40 seats 16 &17. Selling for 250. 2. The Chula Vista show. 2 separate tickets Ticket 1. Section 204 Row H Seat 1 $120- Ticket 2. Section 101 Row P seat 3 $140- (If you want both I'll sell them for $200-) My email is [email protected] it's the best way to reach me. Thanks guys!
  8. Jermajesty Jackson is probably my favorite celeb-weirdo name. I laugh every time I hear it.
  9. CHRIS!!! It's still your birthday for another 25 minutes here in California, so I hope you've had the happiest birthday you could imagine! I'll see you soon!
  10. Hey American fans!!! Go here to make a complaint to Mtv. There's already a thread about wanting this to air in America. You have to sign up for an account to post, but it's easy. Maybe if they get enough people mad about it, they'll play it some other time!
  11. UGH! That dress looks like it's from the mid-90's! One-shoulder, weird seams, metallic fabric. C'mon, girl! That little jacket is to die for, though.

In VLV, I have always heard "I hear angels and the bells are ringing..." Even though I now know it's "Jerusalem bells", I still sing angels.
  13. I've seen them at outdoor venues before, and they still did the yellow balloons.
  14. My friend was talking for a while of getting the silhouette of a person carrying another in his arms with the verse around it saying "What good is it to live with nothing left to give?" My personal favorite line is "Am I part of the cure, or am I part of the disease?" It keeps me in check.
