  1. That is adorable! I have to ask, what kind of camera did you use? I'm sorry if someone asked you already but if they did I didn't see it.
  2. You have to look at this from a business viewpoint, guys. Viva la Vida was huge, IS huge. And it did really well without anyone expecting it to. Now, what would a video do? Generate more interest in the single. More interest equals more downloads/purchases. It's brilliant on EMI's part, and even better for the fans because we finally get a freakin' video.
  3. He's got one on each wrist, an A on one and an M on the other.
  4. It's brilliant, actually. They'd be striking up interest in an old song, especially if the video's good, getting them even more downloads/record sales. That's the point.
  5. The Newsreel posts are usually a bit silly, aren't they? I get the feeling they're just taking the piss.
  6. Thank you so much! I suppose it also depends on how the stadium is built, but that's great! We'll have to do some seat hopping, in any case :laugh3:
  7. God, that concert sounds like it was AMAZING last night! I hope tonight's goes just as well! But I've got a question... can anyone tell me, and I don't mind if it's just a rough estimate, how far back the catwalks go? Where Jonny goes up to play the solo for In My Place, where Chris jumps around, those things. How far into the floor seats, I mean. I just want to have a nice visual of where I might be ;)
  8. What's with all the down faces? We're still getting 20(!) songs, and who knows, this WAS just the first concert, maybe they'll add in Cemeteries and some others once they get into the swing of things? And thank goodness they're playing the Scientist! I would've had a fit if they weren't.
  9. Haha! I was exaggerating a little, as I've got insomnia like you wouldn't believe so this isn't a big deal for me at all, but I guess when my brain actually knows that I have to get up at six in the morning for the first time in two weeks, it tries to knock some sense into me. BUT I WON'T LET IT. C'mon, LA people! I'll come over there, I swear I will.
  10. Oh man... I'm fading fast. I'm in Minnesota so it's now two in the morning, but argh! Come on, Californians! Don't leave us waiting until... well, later in the day I guess. And aw, Yellow! In my sleep-deprived state I'm pretty sure this song is going to bring the waterworks just for the fact that I'm barely coherent.
  11. I've got to wake up in five and a half hours, but I'll be damned if I'm not staying up waiting for the first review.
  12. Hang on, hang on... is this only a list of living bass players? Because for some reason, I don't see John Entwistle on that list. I love Guy and his playing, but any list that doesn't put John Entwistle in the number one spot, or at least top three, isn't a credible list.
