He is a rapper. He was the one who knocked Coldplay from the #1 album sales slot in the US.

Lil Wayne topped out at 8 nominations, Coldplay was next with 7. I like that idea of the stringed accompaniment for VLV...maybe a little interlude before the big chant section. I just want the butterflies, lol.

Either way...I want/demand the butterflies to roam freely.

I wonder if we'll see "new outfits" since it will be 2009 when this happens. Man, Feb. seems so far away right now.

I think performers for the Grammys usually play "The Big Hit" I think more people are going to consider that the is the case for VLV. I would honestly prefer Violet Hill as well, considering that's getting nominated as well. I just think it's going to be VLV.

It's because they've got a better feel for real music, lol. With so many nominations, I can't imagine they won't find a way to be there and perform. If they do perform, it has to be Viva la Vida.

Yeah, the AMAs<Grammys This is the one that you really want to win. I think they do have a pretty decent chance at the two big ones. Album of the year seems possible, I think Radiohead might be the road-block for them. Either way, I think they've got a good chance to make good on getting so many nominations. I think they'll get at least 1 or 2. And like they say, it REALLY is a honor to get nominated for a grammy.

Just saw this from a blogger on yahoo, thought you might like it!: Coldplay probably delivered my second-favorite performance of the evening, after Annie's. Compared to most of the AMA acts, they came across as positively out-there avant garde (they were probably the only artist at the ceremony whose album was produced by Brian Eno--I highly doubt Miley's was), delivering a dynamic performance in the center of an autumn-leaves windstorm, dressed in their vaguely fetishy crossing-the-Delaware military uniforms. It seemed like everyone loved this performance. Everyone, of course, except for the poor janitor who had to sweep up all those dried leaves.

The music seems really quiet or his mic is really raised in volume. One of the two...that didn't help make it a real good performance. But it's still fun to watch them perform!

It's a shame they don't have the bracelets on the site. I know they have the link to the main charitable site that sells them, but I thought people had mentioned that they were having issues not receiving them or taking a while to get them. If I knew people who were going to shows, I'd try to figure something out to where I'd send them the money and they buy them and mail them to me. That might be quicker, haha.
