It's either one of 3 people: Guy, Brian Eno, or Will again. I know it's definitely not Jonny because you can hear his voice during the chorus (the very deep sounding one) and we have heard Jonny sing before on other songs and the third verse doesn't match his voice. It's not Chris either, it doesn't sound like his voice at all, Chris' voice is quite nasally and pretty easy to distinguish from the other guys. I'm not 100% sure but I think Guy may be using a vocoder effect when he sings "Chinese Sleep Chant", or he is just singing in his lower register because Guy's natural singing voice is not really very deep as we've heard on "I'm a Believer" and "Lover's in Japan" at the live shows. I've never really heard Brian Eno sing so I can't really say if it sounds similar to him but I do remember reading that Brian had sung with them on a few tracks so it could be this one. As for it possibly being Will, it sounds similar in pitch to his voice, the only question is the slight accent I hear on some of the words like "prospektor had been told". Which makes me think it's either Brian or Guy. And as for Phil, the guys (or maybe it was Debs?) have mentioned before that he has no involvement with the musical part of things, he doesn't play an instrument/sing so sadly it can't be him, though that would have been quite epic having all 5 official members in one song. haha :lol: that was a pretty in-depth dissection of who I think is singing and in the end I still don't have an answer :bigcry:. I really think the Oracle needs to answer this one :whip:

^ yeah but who's to say it's not for those things as well? Obviously this is the INTERNET, what you say here you wouldn't neccessarily say in the real world. If this is where people come to relax from their real lives and have a little bit of harmless, mindless chatter why should anyone stop them? Honestly I've learned a loooong time ago, if there is something you don't want to see on the internet, scroll past it. It's that simple, if I see something I don't like or don't agree with I scroll past or go to a different page. It's not like there aren't enough places in this forum for everyone to go to find something that suits their interest. There are hundreds of threads, and thousands of users, so to say what people should or should not use this board for is being a bit confining for the size of this community. Sorry if that seems ranty, I just never understand why people argue about what other people do on the interwebs. :shrug:

haha I downloaded the bootleg and I can hear coldplayers in some parts. Have you guys listened to the escapist outro track? Near the end you can hear someone say "We should send some to Lori!" and someone else say "Yeah , definitely" and then "Aw, I ripped it!" I'm pretty sure those are all coldplayers though I'm not exactly sure who :uhoh: And then during VLV you can hear a guy say "SIGN DOWN!", telling someone to lower their sign (maybe the rhythm section one?) and then someone goes "Sorry", and the guy says (to someone next to him I'm guessing) "Gotta keep these whipper snappers in line" So far that's all I've found, I'm really glad this show has such a great recording :D It's like re-living it all over :escaping:

Franksy is awesome, was he wearing his pimp hat? :D When I was at the show in Hartford I could see Matt using crutches, he also had some guy helping him with Jonny's equipment so I'm thinking it's only because he's injured, not leaving. Great pics of Jonny :heart: and PHIL!! I think this is the first we've seen of him in a while. Can't wait to read more, sounds like you all had an amazing time :)
