The original version of the song is in Ab this string version is in D. So the chords would be G, A, D, Bm.

Ok the right hand plays the chord Db(1st inversion), Eb(1st inversion), Ab(root), Fm(root) I'm not 100% sure the inversion are right but they are close enough. The whole song is basically those four chords the whole time, but the inversions do change. The left goes Db(4 beats), Eb(8 beats), F(4 beats) (single notes) the part right before the singalong the right hand goes Db, Fm, Db, Fm, Db, Fm, Ab You will have to figure all the passing tones out by ear, its good practice:D EDIT: remember you don't have to do exactly what Chris does, play around with the chords, and do your own thing.

Hello Alyssa:D! Holy crap I have almost the same story about how I fell in love with COLDPLAY:shocked2:!!! Just like you said you heard clocks when you were real young, same for me! I wanted to know who played that amazing song. Then one day I heard Speed of Sound on the radio, I went to the store and bought X&Y. I then looked on the internet for some COLDPLAY videos and saw clocks, and just like you I was so thrilled to have finally found the band! Also there were some other songs that I fell in love with during my yearly childhood, all of those songs just happened to be by COLDPLAY!!! I was so amazed to fined that like five songs I loved were all by one band! Those songs were In My Place, Clocks, The Scientist, Yellow and Trouble:wacky: Since then I have collected every EP, studio album, B-side, and just about any music that COLDPLAY have had a hand in. Then one day I came across this amazing site and I was so happy to fined people just like me!!! And yes you are a COLDPLAY freak:mad: welcome to the freak show:D

Does anyone know what time COLDPLAY usually start their sound checks before concerts? I'm going to the Houston show in July and they are playing a pavilion so I figure It will be pretty easy to hear them practicing. So if any one knows or has any idea that would be cool:D

Something cool probably will happen. They allways say they write new music during sound checks so maybe we will hear new music. and maybe they will come out and meet us if we are lucky.

ya floor seats are only good for the fisrt few rows. I was in the stands and The view of the guys and the lights were great and no heads got in the way. But I would have liked to have been a little closer.

I just settled for the lawn seats. I was going to get reserved seats but they were crap and expensive while the lawn seats are crap and cheap :smug:
