Changes I would make to the most recent setlist IN Trouble Shiver Don't Panic Glass of Water Rainy Day OUT Life in Technicolour Green Eyes Death Will Never Conquer Politik The Escapist (technically doesn't count but meh)

Guys, Coldplay aren't going to play AAMI Stadium. They have stated previously they aren't comfortable playing a stadium on their own at the moment. Let alone the fact they havent played a stadium in their current tour and wouldn't have the right equipment to make it work anyway. Since the AEC is booked 28 Feb - 8 March our best hope is they kick off in Adelaide before going to Perth, say on Wednesday February 25, or after Sydney, say Saturday March 14. Their is no suitable alternative venue. In reality it isn't going to happen - but we can all live in hope!

If your thinking of going to your local Target to get the CD don't bother as they aren't stocking it due to what they say is poorer than expected sales of Viva..... (I work there) Surprising so many retailers have it out before Saturday, big fines can be issued from EMI as it is officially embargoed until Saturday.

From what I have heard so far......... Perth - Burswood Dome - Thursday 12th February 2009 Melbourne - Rod Laver Arena - Monday March 2 and Tuesday March 3 2009 Sydney - Acer Arena - Wednesday March 11 and Thursday March 12 2009 You'd expect Adelaide and Brisbane dates to fall in between the Perth and Melbourne concerts. Here's hopin anyway!

My Set list in order........... 1. Life in Technicolour - to set the mood - band offstage - then straight into 2. Violet Hill - First single , want to open with something new and punchy 3. Speed of Sound - keep the uptempo start going 4. Clocks - 5. Talk - Great song live, shouldn't have been cut from the setlist 6. Lost - Remind people why we are here, new material! 7. Lovers in Japan - Helps soften tempo for middle set of concert 8. Strawberry Swing - 9 . Trouble - A classic, Coldplay at its best 10. The Scientist - Another that should never be lost from the setlist 11. In My Place - 12. 42 - 13 . Cemetries of London - 14 . Death and all his Friends - Good finish to album and main set ENCORE 15 . Yellow - The one everyone wants and a great 'comeback' song 16 . Viva La Vida - The classic from the new album will blend perfectly 17 . Fix You - Couldn't ask for a better closing song Not everyone would agree, but that's why we all have opinions!
