  1. So I was at the Killers show last night at the S Center. I checked out the pit afterwards and it's a rather large area, with room all the way to either side of the stage. It's not set up like it looks on the seating chart at all. More oval-like. It looks like it can hold several hundred people, too, so get there early if want a certain spot.
  2. So last night's show was just okay for me. I've seen them three times now, and I'm like kinda over them live. LOVE the music, I just don't think their concerts live up to the tunes. They played for about 80 minutes, minus the five offstage before encore. And these guys are in their twenties? C'mon, Springsteen is 59 and does a three hour show.
  3. Not sure, like Row N or something. My seats are will call, and my receipt doesn't have the seat info on it, wierd.
  4. HAHA!!!!!!! what a jo

  10. ^ I have a feeling it's gonna be nuts. Warm weather, start of summer, greatest band ever, etc. Oh yeah.
  11. ^I listen to that show all the time! Chris is so hyped on that one, too. Unlike Nov 1 where he barely says anything cuz the crowd was LAME-O. Except for us CPers who were prolly singing our faces off, lol.
  12. Holy shit what a show! :stunned: Too many cool things to mention but one thing that really blew me away was when he did a cover of "London Calling". Are you kidding me? Unreal. That band can pretty much play any song, I mean literally any. song. He pretty much pulled out all the stops. Almost a three hour show with loads of anecdotes, preacher-style deliveries, cover songs, requests, crowd favorites, and patriotic anthems. He talked about his love of the older venues like the Spectrum because they don't have the VIP boxes and such. Interesting sidenote, the Spectrum is the very first arena he ever performed in, back in '76. And soon it will be nothing but dust. It is rather intimate for an arena, not really a bad seat in the whole joint. But the concourses are extremely narrow. Like wtf were they thinking when they built that place. But it def is a "house of rock" as Bruce called it. I myself have been to about 20-25 shows there. It will be sad to see it go. Anyway I'm rambling. I thought the setlist was phenomenal, although some of my personal favs he did the first night (Rosie, Out in the Street, Wrestler). But we got Thunder Road, Spirits in the Night, Hungry Heart, Streets of Philadelphia, and the closer, Kitty's Back. I think I scared a few people in our section with my fist-pumping on that one, haha. So it looks like I might hit the Hershey, PA show in two weeks. Yes, where they make the chocolate. And some band Coldplay is gonna be there two weeks after that. ;)
  13. Not to get off-topic but remember the Grammys? Chris squeezed in a line from "WOAD" during "VLV". That was sweet. And yeah, btw, The Boss fuckin rocked it!!! Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce!!!!

  19. I hate to say this, but I have a bad feeling our WS MVP is going to have a crummy year. First the elbow, now the ankel. Fuckin A. And it's still April. Well, maybe that's a good thing. Lots o' time left! edit: forgot about the beaning on the shoulder. that's three things so it should be over now.
  20. Holy shit it's tomorrow!!! Wish I could go to tonight's show too.
