CHROMATICS - kill for love fucking OMFG. a monster of an album, sprawling and messy and full of dreamy fucked up weary 50s neo noir movie style atmospheres. some of the best pop tunes released this year (esp the first 6 songs or so). of course it's a bit overlong, and some ambienty tracks are kinda useless, but idc cuz the good songs are so fucking good.

yeah i heard that one leaked p early gonna wait a little bit to give it a listen though in other news: panabrite - soft terminal is prob the best album i've heard this year so far. wonderfully repetitive ambient stuff, sounds so pure they make my heart melt; fucking in love with it.

burial is god bon iver is boring & gay but pretty decent in my book haven't actually heard any drake stuff. think it's some 'emotional' rap or sth

tbh i'm not quite sure about the album myself guess i need some time for it to sink in (and esp have something else than a soundcloud ffs) ps: the discussion about this album in the dubstep thread in the atease forum was p epic last night; it got quite a lot of undeserved hate it was quite funny in other news: new machinedrum ep: p terrible imo, have only skimmed through it though new lhf ep: digging it, awesome atmosphere and all shed single: great, but i can't help feeling good ol' rené can do much better. also it reminds me of actress - rainy dub / faceless (oh and shed lp3 has a july release date it seems) speaking of which, actress lp3 coming out on 4/20 and since this isn't just about bass music, nite jewel - one second of love: love this, actually. catchy and all around nice enjoyable stuff sleigh bells lp2 : not sure if i prefer treats or this, but it's good. 'end of line' is all kinds of sweet sure i'm forgettin lots of other stuff, oh well.

many electronic acts sound similar to dp and justice few are actually good though plus it depends what kind of daft punk you like, do you like discovery or homework better etc?
