I think it's all crap. EVERY person in the world who is not deaf hears songs, and any of those people who go on to create their own songs have SOME inspiration from EVERYTHING they've heard. EVERYONE. You can't say that something is all your own, because "your own" is just a combination of your opinions of everyone else's stuff mixed with some of your own ideas. +.. why isn't this Joe guy suing New Kids On The Block & NeYo? Are the seats good? I'M SOOOOO EXCITEDDDDD!!! I keep trying to do the virtual view on the wachovia website but everytime I open it, it closes my entire Internet window. I wanna know what my view from my seats is!! + anyone know where the ramps come out??? I'm hoping...!!!! <3 YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! PS: anyone sitting near me? Section 4, row 4, seat 4 :)

I was soooo happy when they played Green Eyes in July cuz I haven't heard it live and it's one of my favorite Coldplay songs!! + I think the reason why the whole "no cameras" thing is declining is because of how cell phones have everything now.. and they can't feasibly tell people that they aren't allowed to bring their cell phones in to a concert.

I like the sign but I have 2 concerns: 1) It looks great in color, but in grayscale the flowers might make the words hard to read. 2) It is made in photoshop, and I know I don't have that program, which might make it difficult to send it in attachments for others to open to make prints of. Plus.. they won't be able to see the flowers where they are on stage anyway.. so I think we should just make sure that the lettering is very legible and easy to distinguish in a dimly light concert venue. Also--anyone up real close on the floor? Take a sign and make a paper airplane and throw it to Coldplay maybe?! Haha just putting the idea out there.. :P

^ agreeddd!!! :-D + as far as cameras go.. I got there an hour and a half early last time (7/25) and they didn't even check my bag at all. My camera was in the bottom in a black case and it's not too big so it didn't stand out anyway. I know the first time I saw Coldplay live I didn't want to bring my digital camera because online the venue's site said "No Cameras" so I brought a crappy disposable instead.. got half-decent pics (for a disposable camera).. and in the middle of the show the screen in the background displayed "Get your cameras ready!" and I was like pissed that I could have had my camera the whole time!! Coldplay wanted us to have cameras!! And then every time since then I've brought my digital camera to the concerts without a problem.. hope for no problems again in November!! :-D

Yeah true.. I'm thinking we should talk up some of the security guards. :) Met a nice one there in July.. I'm sure some of them wouldn't mind helping out.

So question.. for us on the floor.. couldn't we hand them to the people in the various sections and tell them to pass them out in their sections maybe? Something like that.. ? Just brainstorming some more ideas haha.

that's why I was thinking maybe a table or even a poster to hang up or some other kind of advertising for the signs.. and all this while we hand them out as well. ..?

+ also.. I talked to my mom. Even though I'll be away at college in Delaware, she said she could get like 250 signs printed at her school. Is that good? + someone needs to email me the template or whatever so I can forward it to her and all.. just letting you know. :)

Also----just noticed... THE CONCERT IS THE WEEKEND OF DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!!!!!!! extra hour ??!?!?!!??! :D

This is probably a bad idea but maybe it can help for brainstorming with everyone else.. but what about if we were near the entrances with the signs and passed them out then and said "hold this up after the Encore" or something like that along with the little short note or whatever.. or maybe get a table ?? Like, talk to Wachovia and get a table for Coldplaying.com like how there's an Oxfam table and various radio station tables and stuff like that.. then people would see it and we could hand them out along with having the table because it would draw people there?? Idunno.. just throwing ideas out there lol. I know it will all work out by the show. :)

Hey! I'm volunteering to be a part of this! + I was thinking "Philly Loves Coldplay" but went and read all the posts and I'm glad to see others thought of + agree with it too! I def think that's the best bet for our signs. Also.. I'll help pass them out! + with the note on the back.. I think it might be a little bit too long.. people may not feel like reading all of it and then they may not know when to hold them up. I think we need a somewhat shorter message that gets the point across.. like maybe "Hold this sign up after the last song of the Encore. < larger font Please don't litter; dispose of this properly." < smaller font

Maybe at the very bottom of the sign you could write when to hold them up.. that way the people holding the signs will know when to hold them up but Coldplay won't see that part because it will be small on the bottom.. kindof like what they did with the signs for the Twisted Logic Tour last time.. thoughts??

What do the signs need to say + is it just one-sided?? I MIGHT be able to have some printed. My mom's a teacher so she gets free paper/ink/etc... so I might be able to get her to print some for me. I just don't know how many we're talking about, any estimates? Also, I'm in the same boat as Dave because I'll be at college in Delaware until the day of the show so yeah.. but if I know what to make them say and have a strong reason then I can MAYBE get my mom to print some copies at her school. Just tell me what to do lol. + ALSO--I bought 2 tickets for the 11/1/08 Philly show.. but I'm not sure if any of my friends are DEF going yet (due to college/$$$/etc).. so I MIGHT be able to sell someone my ticket! Section 4, Row 4, Seat 4+3 I'll keep you guys updated and let you all know as soon as I find out if a friend will be buying my other ticket or not :) sooo excited though.. just got nice frames for the poster I got at the 7/25/08 show.. but I don't want to bring ALL the posters.. I'm thinking only 1-2 cuz I'll need some at home for when I'm not at school you know? haha. :-D + the butterfly confetti from the show.. I'm putting it around my dorm room for decoration cuz I love butterflies and they're from COLDPLAY!! :-D
