She has to have catchy songs at first to get noticed, but she has new songs coming out and some of them are more soft like this. She has talent in my book, she wasn't just dreaming of a record deal, she went to the NYU Arts School, she worked her way up to get noticed.

People ALWAYS generalize and say that she is manufactured. She writes her own stuff and is very involved and dedicated she wouldn't let a record company tell her want to do. She sings deeper now, but she is so talented when she is on the piano and she has a great voice. She just sings pop songs so you don't get to hear the whole range, but when she does acoustic versions of her songs she sounds amazing!
