Thanks! Cant think of a better way to kick off a birthday than with Coldplay. (There were too many rhymes in that sentence. Ech) I'll be at the 9PM show, but I'll get to the venue between 4-5 (probably too late to meet people for the 5PM show. Doors probably open around 4, right?). The pizza place is right across the street from the Beacon. It's called "Freddie and Peper's".

I just finished fixing up my Viva/MX jacket for the show. I'm not 21 yet (just a couple days away!), so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to the bar. I'll be grabbing something to eat once I arrive at the venue. I found a pizza joint walking distance from the Beacon, so anyone is welcome to join me. We could meet in front of the venue, walk to the pizza place, and then come back in time for Doors Open.

That's actually not too far from the theatre. You could probably catch a cab, it shouldn't cost too much.

I'm attempting to do some work on my Viva jacket today. Fix it up a bit and add some MX era stuff to it and wear it at the concert. That'll also have the nice side effect of making me easy to spot for the meet up, hahaha.

I'm staying at the airport :P I'm flying back to Florida a couple hours after the show because I have work the next day, haha. So, I'll just nap at the terminal and in my flight. What I'm thinking right now is we meet at the venue and from there go somewhere that's walking distance. But if anyone has a better idea, feel free to throw it out there.

I'll definitely be there! My flight gets in at 3:30 the day of the show, so I'll probably get to the venue between 4-5. We can meet around the theatre and grab some lunch before the show.

So, I don't really care for what most people consider EDM. But I do love electronic music and I really like this song. I don't know if I'd call it EDM. Electronic music genres are so confusing. A lot of times I just resort to saying things like "synth pop" or "ambient" or something silly like that because people want me to be more specific when they ask. I'd rather just say "electronic" and then mention I know what I like and what I don't.

Yeah, I'll probably be sleeping a bit at the airport and on the flight home. Or maybe not at all. I have a lot of trouble sleeping, so it's very possible I'll be up until later the next day. I used to travel to NY/NJ a lot. I still go there fairly often, but not as often as I used to. Sine you'll only be there a few hours, you might not be able to do much, but you have to at least get yourself a slice of pizza, haha. Hopefully there can be a Coldplayer meet up and we can all get one! :P

During the Zane Lowe interview, when they started playing the intro, my heart started beating faster. Like the synths triggered something. Then the moment Chris sang that first line... "I think of you..." I teared up. It felt so... so, genuine. Almost sad, and it hit me like a speeding truck. I can't wait for this album. 3 weeks is gonna feel like an eternity.

Sorry for the double post, but I just listened to the Zane Lowe interview and I have to say this. I am so glad that I grabbed a ticket to the NYC show, even if it cost me a pretty penny. Knowing now that they might not be touring this album is gonna make this show even more special. I would have already regretted not seeing Coldplay in a fairly small theatre if I didn't go. Now I would have just hated myself if I didn't go and found out they aren't touring Ghost Stories. Cant wait for next week. It's going to be (pardon the pun) magical.

Cool. I'm still trying to find a flight, but they got more expensive over the weekend. I should have bought the flight when I bought the ticket. Ughhh...

I just got my ticket! I got Loge 4, Row H, Seat 48. Anyone hear got seats near that? It would be cool to sit with a bunch of Coldplayers! One thing, my ticket is issued to someone else (since I got it through StubHub). I'm assuming that won't be a problem? Are they gonna match ID to the ticket?

Hey guys, just sent the latest episode to Sparky. Just want to tell you guys first before the episode is up: sorry about some video slight quality differences this week. I switched to a different lens to make it easier to shoot, but it has a variable aperture (the part that lets light in). That means the video gets darker when I zoom in, which normally wouldn't be too much of a problem but I shot this one later than usual and I was losing light fast so it looks a little grainy. Oh, and the beginning is out of focus a bit, but that's because I didn't bother to shoot a test clip. (The screen on the camera is a bit too far away for me to see if something is focused or not while shooting so I have to shoot a test clip to know where my focus needs to be). My bad.

I actually forgot the melody already too :( But that's fine, now that I've heard it once I can deal with it until it actually gets released.

Hey guys, just want to give you a heads up on the next episode. It may be a day late or so for 2 reasons: 1) I planned to shoot these on Fridays, but I got a little busy and just finished shooting it right now. Which means I may not get around to editing it until later tonight. 2) Sparky sent me a message saying he would be on holiday for a few days and may not get wifi to post the episode after I send it to him. But besides that, expect to see it cover the majority of this week's news. I think the only thing I didn't mention was the French TV appearance and the Radio1 Big Weekend headline spot (but I did mention everything else related to Radio1). Funny enough, that's very similar to how I structured it this week. A lot of the news easily segued into each other, so many of them fit under one Headline. (I believe I did German Shows/ASFOS, Oceans/Zane Lowe/AIMH, Track Times/Album Length, NBC Special/Trailer in that order if I recall correctly).

So, I caved. I couldn't take it anymore and I listened to the leak. I loved it even with that crap quality. I am now so excited to hear it live in NYC (hopefully they keep it on the setlist). Not gonna listen to it again until then, but you can bet I'll be humming it for a while.

I'm stuck at work so I won't be able to listen live. My eyes are locked on this thread anyway, it's getting me really excited. Hope those recordings are up soon after :P

Quick question to anyone at the show: Are camera's being allowed at this show or are they banned like the LA shows?

We should probably start a separate thread at some point and then decide a place to meet near the venue (walking distance probably) once enough people want to meet.

Alright, I did it. 391 bones for a Loge 4 seat. I could have gotten a better seat, but this was already pushing my price range a tad. Looking online it seems the Loge seats are pretty good. Now to book a flight. Exciting stuff! Yeah, definitely! I'd love to hang out with some Coldplayers before/after the show. I gotta do something in between flights and shows :P

Awesome, thanks guys. I think I'm gonna do it. The NYC shows just lines up too perfectly with other life stuff, it feels like I can't not take the opportunity to go. Mondays are my day off work, that week is the week of my 21st birthday, a lot of my family is in NJ so if for whatever reason stuff goes wrong with a flight, I could always crash at their place. You'd think with the luck lining all that up, I'd be able to get a ticket at face value hahaha.

Knowing the way my brain works, the fact that I'm mulling this over for so long means I'll cave soon and just do it :P Since that is the case, I have a question. For all of the concerts I've been to I've been able to get tickets directly from the box office (including the Coldplay concert I went to). I've never used StubHub or a similar site. Most of the tickets on StubHub are electronic. I thought electronic tickets couldn't be transferred. Can someone clarify before I bite the bullet?
