Brothers & Sisters EP
I like Jonny's lead guitar intro on Only Superstition, really dynamic. Easy To Please is a soft song that Chris does really well. I was very surprised about this EP because I never knew that the guys ever had an EP much less their very first recordings as a group from 1998. Are there anymore EP's and rarities from the guys I should look out for in the stores?

Brothers & Sisters EP
Guess what I found today at Best Buy here in Texas where I live and that is an Coldplay EP called Brothers & Sisters released on Fierce Panda records which features the first recordings from the guys from 1998 and was released in March 1999. The songs on the EP are as follows: Brothers & Sisters Easy To Please Only Superstition I found this today as I was checking for another record that I wanted and I stumbled on this and the price was right too $4.99 to be exact. Chris sounds great on all the songs especially on Brothers & Sisters with Will and Guy singing harmonies on the song with Chris. How many of you all have this EP?

The Official Countdown to Jonny's Birthday Thread
Happy 31st Birthday, Jonny!!! Happy Birthday, Jonny!!! Just 6 1/2 more hours to the big day. I hope that we get to see a repeat of what we saw with Will when he had his birthday on stage with the cake with the sparklers. I enjoyed the video on YouTube of that. Maybe that they could do the same with Jonny and have his birthday on stage too.

Death Will Never Conquer
I like Will's version of the song better since it is the first time we have heard Will sing lead on anything that Coldplay has done or have seen Will play guitar. Will has a great voice and I wish that we could hear more of him on lead besides him singing backup on drums or on piano and that can go for Guy and Jonny as well as we would like to see what they sound like singing lead on a song. Plus, my avatar says it all.

Newbie From Texas Here!!
Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here on the Coldplaying.com boards. I'm from South Texas in a town called Pleasanton about 40 miles south of San Antonio and I have been a Coldplay fan for several years now. My favorite Coldplay songs are Viva La Vida, Death and All His Friends, Fix You, God Put A Smile On Your Face, Will's song Death Will Never Conquer, and many others. I also like other groups and singers like Weezer, 3 Doors Down, Metallica, and a whole bunch of others. I also like country music as well and I enjoy Chris' version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire when they do an acoustic set of their songs. I have also seen them on Austin City Limits too. Coldplay is super!! Looks like we are going to get Hurricane Ike here in South Texas by Saturday, so please pray for us here in South Texas and San Antonio too. They are expecting it to be a category 3 at landfall when it hits Texas. Anyways, I'm happy to be here on the boards and I'm glad to be a part of being a fan of the greatest group in the world.

WHY aren't they playing this live??!!!
I have read on The Oracle on Coldplay.com that Jonny doesn't sing on Death and All His Friends live in concert because it is hard for him to sing and play the guitar lead at the same time as there are many chords to play in the song. This is the very first time that all four of the guys have sung a song on a record of their own. This tops Fix You as one of my favorite songs although on record it is sung by Chris and Will only while live in concert, the last part is sung by Chris, Will, Guy and Jonny together.
