Yeah Mark, that's exactly what I've thought as well. Esp. given that they haven't had so much success over here with any single or the album ... Of course the album did good and so did the single 'VLV' but it wasn't even no. 1 or so?! Somehow I am feeling a little proud that for once Germany is acknowledging good music :)

I don't think that winning this prize will make him cheer up :( It's just a prize given out by the german phono industry, the Grammys and the Brits (esp. the Brits because they are from the UK themselves) are probably way more important to them :)

Awww ... :( I really feel bad about it at times, 'cause there are so many other people who are waiting for a similar moment for years already ... and here I am given this chance half a year after starting to be a big fan :( Then again, I was hoping for something to happen, I was dreaming about it but my common sense told me that it was very unlikely that something like this would happen in London, esp. not at this event ... Awww ... there was one really spooky but kind of annoying thing happening to me when I arrived in Stansted (Greater London Airport) on Tuesday. I was entering this coach to be brought into London and when I boarded, guess what was playing on the radio/on CD?!?!? Ah ... you wouldn't guess it anyway ;) Gwyn singing 'Bette Davies Eyes' and I was like :shocked2: OMG, is this a sign?! There were even more signs during this trip so it must have been some kind of outlook that something good was going to happen :) And it did! :)

It may be said to be the second important after the Brits, but sometimes I really doubt the whole event. Pocher/Schoeneberger were so annoying. :rolleyes: They had some good showacts, though but the cherry on top of it all would have been Coldplay :) But I am really happy, that they got some recognition here in Germany :)

Unfortunately both Nicole and myself haven't seen anything on TV. It was live on national TV but both of us seemed to have missed the airing of this category. Maybe they just didn't fit it into the show as CP were not there ...?! :( I asked the Oracle whether they would be in Berlin tonight but my question wasn't chosen :( Ah well ... as long as they did get a prize it's not important whether they've been there or not. They are probably already on the way to Australia to have some time to adjust to the climate and different time zone there!?

I guess I was only very close to pass out when I found a photo of Chris smiling at me on a paparazzi site when I arrived back home on Thursday. That made me nearly cry ... :smug: :cry:
