Another reason one cannot make a generalization such as this one is because many, many different types of people listen to Coldplay. This would include both intelligent people and... less intelligent people. I know this is about the majority, but even so, my point is still valid.

Oh, it's not one of my favorites on OK Computer either. I was just listening to it today and as I said in my previous post, I like it more now than I used to, so I felt like posting about it. Now that you mention it, I'm not really sure about its mood. I wouldn't call it depressing, no.

I didn't expect U2 fans to be considered particularly smart. That was a little surprising for me. That's true. How people who listen to this new mainstream garbage like "Lady Gaga" and "Katy Perry"?

Haha. All of this "smart people listen to this music," "dumb people listen to that music" is total bullshit. What if I listen to Coldplay AND Radiohead? I don't listen to much Beethoven currently, but recently I was considering listening to more of his work. I do have much admiration and respect for him.
