  1. yeah, the chords sound spot on! by the way, i have the viva la vida songbook and the guitar chords sound good, but aren't right (not the way chris plays them).
  2. you don't hear it? seriously?? there's definitely an acoustic guitar track there. i can't remember how i played it, but i'm pretty positive about that thumb thing i've told you about.
  3. lol at the video, you can hear the acoustic guitar for the first minute and he isn't playing. very well coldplay, very well....... so chris is just adding some bits here, but the real acoustic track (the backing track here) is played as i noted before: full chords using the thumb (as he starts doing at around 2.10 in the video)
  4. ok so SOLID GROUND (piano): --------intro: Eb, Ab, Eb, Ab Eb Cm, Bb, Eb --------verse: Ab, Eb, Cm, Bb --------chorus: same as intro chords are: (Eb) left hand plays Eb G Bb (Ab) left hand plays Eb Ab C (Cm) left hand plays C Eb G (Bb) left hand plays D F Bb
  5. bad bad, chris rarely plays on standard, and he always plays chords with thumb: he isn't muting, he's fretting! for example, he'd play a G chord like this: 3 5 5 4 3 0
  6. here you have a great 'opinion' featuring two nice swearwords, eh?
  7. don't know if they're fake or not, but the 'new' songs are damn cool, and the impersonator is a fucking genius, and a nice composer!
  8. lovely librarian you'd be!
  9. the lists are talking about the performances, not about the bands, so shut up if you've got nothing better to say
  10. but if it's a soundcheck, then you're assuming it IS coldplay¿? the voice is scarily similar to Chris'...
  11. what about careful where you stand? (that fucking ending i mean)
  12. i'm not the king of tabbing either, i didn't say that.
  13. man, this tabs are not bad, but they're far from perfect. stop acting as if you were the king of tabbing because you're obviously not.
  14. he must be playing Lucky there! /offtopic
  15. look at this! QUOTE (Wonsaponatime @ Mar 16 2010, 12:02 PM) I just asked Adam Buxton on his current chat at the Guardian about what he was doing with the band in early march: "Just looking at footage from the last few years, webcasts, concerts, home movies etc. for a possible DVD. Shouldn't say more!"
  16. ^yeah, that was the "inspiration"
  17. hey guys, what do you think of this alternate tracklist of HTTT i've come up with? it's a way of improving it, at least for me :P 2+2=5 Sit Down. Stand Up. Backdrifts A Wolf At The Door Your Time Is Up Paperbag Writer There There Scatterbrain Myxomatosis Sail To The Moon
  18. what a shit title, seriously and well, i don't know why everybody is saying Don Quixote when it's always been spelled Don Quijote: i think it's clear that this song is a one-off, they are playing it just not to get boring with the setlist....
  19. you add a country/folk-ish vibe that doesn't really fit the song..
  20. jigsaw falling into place!!!! (finally i can play it!)
