I think Coldplay has a desire to be huge... While for Radiohead that desire is kind of tamed and focusses more on the music. That being said, I don't think Coldplay's music has suffered loss from them trying to be huge... But that's why you see the costumes and the promos and what not. I'm not gonna be mad at them for being ambitious. I don't mind the constumes.. I think it's sort of unifying. With the costumes you'd think Coldplay would come off as more pretentious and elitist or whatever... But even without any attire, Radiohead seems to be less down to earth. I dunno why this is even a comparison between them though.

I was talking about how when they were announcing an award, they panned into Radiohead... and Jonny was convering his face and Thom just look embarrassed. As thought they didn't want to be there and were embarrassed. Like get over yourself. It was your choice.

Question: If they really didn't wanna be at the Grammy's, why go at all? If you're gonna sit there and purposely look embarrassed, why make the choice to be there at all?
