  1. Ah, really? :cheesy: Richard is the favourite Keane-member of one very close friend of mine and you see, I love Snow Patrol. :nice: You're no fail, Sarah, it needs some practice. Look at what I did at the beginning, it is hilarious! Maybe I can help you? I'd love to!
  2. It will be my birthday present from them! :smug: And yeah, if they have something, they'll debut it then, because they always did. He doesn't drink anymore, does he? :uhoh: At least not in the last few weeks. And it's definitely the sun. I'm glad there's no sun here for days now.
  3. And they perform live on 23rd September, one day before my birthday! I was just talking to Elena some days ago that I was disappointed that the Tired Pony was some kind of her birthday present form Snow Patrol (rather from Gary) and they are only about to go to the studio again in October. I mean, I love that the Tired Pony record is released in July and Elena deserves an amazing present like that, but usually Snow Patrol put out something at / around my birthday as well. In 2008 it was the Take Back The City video which was posted on snowpatrol.com on 24th September and in 2009 they performed live on American TV that day. Plus there was the Just Say Yes premiere the week before my birthday. So I'm even happier now that I know they will be performing the day before my birthday. :nice: Maybe we get to hear a new song by then? :cheesy: (It's only a week before they go back to the studio, they should not act like they haven't already something to play!) Is it me or does Gary seem a bit pissed about the sun shining in his face? I would be. :laugh4:
  4. Personally I don't 'like' Guinness Ireland on Facebook since they don't even let me see their site (you need to be over 18 years old. As if I had never drunk Guinness in my entire life before ). But I saw the photos. Guess they want to tease the fans (of Guinness more likely) and get them to use the livestream on Saturday. Guess those should symbolize Snow Patrol, but ... I don't recognise them. Yeah, it sounds stupid only seeing them from the hips downward but still ... Me thinks that all these photos are from some Google search and are just symbols. The Snow Patrol Facebook page said they are in Dublin today, Guinness Ireland said they were in Bangor yesterday. Possible, though, but none of the guys are posting on Facebook. All that is quite confusing and I guess I just quit reading those 'news'. :P
  5. You're welcome. :nice: I just wait for Stefan to get here and post a review and photos. On facebook I read that Gary even smiled at him! But I guess he just needs to get some sleep seeing he was in the US two days ago and went straight to the concert yesterday. - Don't call us mad then! Am still disappointed that they skipped on their fans at both shows. :disappointed:
  6. No update from Elena yet, but I have photos from today's radio session for you. I love that guitar of Gary. So many beautiful acoustic set have been played on it. Edit (0.07): Elena-Update IX: They left again. A security guard told Elena that the band left for Paradiso. I seriously don't know what they want there. According to Paradiso's website Sleigh Bells have a gig there and went on stage at around 11 pm. If anyone's interested [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrjueHZpmWQ]YouTube- Sleigh Bells: Ring Ring[/ame] Not recommended by me, though. I made it through the first 20 seconds and stopped there. :dozey: I'm at least as disappointed as Elena must be right now.
  7. Why's that? Have all my fingers and toes crossed that Elena and Stefan meet the guys tonight! :dead:
  8. Elena-Update VIII: The concert's over now. (Elena didn't tell me but I found out over twitter ;)) They got The Finish Line! :stunned: Proof: Not Elena's setlist, though ...
  9. Elena-Update VI: She did make it to the front row again. :smug: She also told me that there is a staircase now so that Gary can get down and up the stage. I guess he really missed that last night seeing that the stage is really high and he said he'd better not try to get off it because he fell down the stage once in Dublin and has bad memories of that accident. Okay Roos, then tonight she's going crazy for you, too. Elena did it for me last night (I guess), so it's your turn now. :D Sorry that I've been a bit lazy about updates today but since I had a hell of a nerv-racking time yesterday, I thought I might get a break from being on the computer and do something usefull to calm me down. It worked. Edit (8:40 p.m.) : Elena-Update VII: She just spotted Pablo and Gary (probably, she wasn't sure about Gary, but how many huge, skinny guys are walking around backstage?) dancing behind the stage to Foals' music. :nice: It seemed to be all of them, though, but the just recognised Pablo for sure.
  10. Thank you so much, Anna!
  11. Thanks for the information, Anna! :nice: I'll re-think it.
  12. We have an international newspaper shop here where I read all British magazines which I unfortunately can't afford. Q Magazine usually is around twelve Euro here. The Rolling Stone from the US is a bit cheaper, most of the time at around nine Euro. I thought of a subscription as well but I decided it would be a bad idea for me for I freak out everytime I get a Q Magazine because of all the brilliant concerts they advertise for the UK. :(
  13. They played a snippet of the Netherland's Eurovision Song Contest entry as well. :dozey: And the boys had to rate it ... @ Jo I'm definitely biased now having read all those Dutch sites and comments.
  14. So do I! :wacky: That's where I get my daily dose of Greg James from. :cheesy:
  15. So next time you meet (Gary and you), you have a lot to talk about then, I guess! :smug: I bet Gary and Nathan are happy to be able to leave that radio station now. I'd be. The poor guys didn't understand what the hosts were saying. But I find it quite easy to understand Dutch being native German. Since yesterday I read more in Dutch than both in English and German together! Changed to BBC Radio One again. Muuuuuuuch better.
  16. Elena had recognised Stefan a while ago but she wasn't sure if it was him and wanted to ask me instead. But I was so confused that I didn't even know any Stefan she could talk about. Stupid me, I was busy with other stuff but as soon as I realized WHO it was, I messaged her she should talk to him. I bet Gary has all the Lost seasons. At least on his computer / laptop. He repeatedly said he doesn't watch TV because he hates the ads. But he does watch series, he just prefers whole seasons so he doesn't need to wait a week or so for the next episode. Thanks so MUCH, Anna!
  17. No, I found the scan on the interenet. I even missed the last one with Coldplay. :dozey: So maybe I'll catch THAT one instead.
  18. Don't ever say this, but today I will: LOL for the comment about the Eurovision Song Contest! :laugh4: :laugh4: I knew they hadn't seen the Contest since they gave the Dutch entry only an eleven. If they had, they'd have said '12' just to tease the people. To muzika I'm gald I'm not the only one who didn't like the interviewer!
  19. 'Your song was on Grey's Anatomy.' 'It was?' This female interviewer is baaaaad. :dozey:
  20. Love that sone as well! :D I really miss BBC Radio's studio webcam on this Dutch site ... THERE THEY ARE! :cheesy:
  21. The quality ist cracking for me from time to time. Not so fine. :disappointed: But: Was that the whole interview? :stunned:
  22. 'I noticed that you close your eyes while singing sometimes, why's that?' 'That's because the lyrics are written on the insides of my eye lids.' What a stuuuuuuuupid question. :dozey:
  23. NOW, I suppose? :uhoh:
  24. From Q Magazine.
  25. It did this yesterday with me, too, but now it works fine. It needs it's time to get the settings, though. I'd love if someone joined me listening. :nice: It's a pity I can't record it, but I'll do my very best finding any recording on the internet later on!
