SERIOUSLY, why the hell is that twilight / new moon / eclipse / [fill in another stuuupid title] rubbish ALWAYS getting those great musicians? I mean, sure, it's a huge thing (for thirteen-year-olds :dozey: Amazing new generation we are expecting, I'd say ...) but that doesn't mean that each and every artist I love and appreciate is willingly letting those 'vampires' ruin their work. Those musicians don't need that 'boost' twilight gives them. They are amazing on their own and certainly don't deserve these twilight fans. I don't want to put anyone down, it's just that I think it's a pure pitty that twilight has again the most terrific soundtrack of the year, although it's surely one of the worst movies of the year. It'll get every f***ing award anyway. :worried:

It's one wonder of an album, isn't it? :nice: So addictive. This week I listened to the first two albums much and to the many unreleased songs / b-sides. I don't care if anybody says they are not a 'b-side's band', Cubicles is just the best b-side ever. Ever ever.

Gary and Troy told me (that sound's so weird :lol:) that they really want to do a little tour. But there's nothing announced yet. Snow Patrol finish their European Tour tomorrow and won't play a concert until late September. REM are not on tour at the moment and Editors finish their (festival-)tour in the beginning of September. They have only two concerts in August. I think if Tired Pony tours this year, they'll do it in August / September. Snow Patrol will go in the studio in autumn (Jonny said in October, Gary said in September). There'd be time. :nice:

Gary says 'I got to wear it first!' and is addressing Jonny Evans, a Northern Irish football player. ;) 'Jonny Evans, I know you are in the crowd tonight - I got to wear it first!' <= Jonny Evans plays for Northern Ireland in international football games, so he's going to wear that shirt soon. But Gary wore it first. :D By the way, I mean football the European way. Football = soccer.

:laugh4: Are you kidding me? That footage is the worst I've ever seen. If it was not for Gary singing so well, Snow Patrol would easily appear to be a kind of bad and certainly lame live band. And we all know they are the complete opposite! The sound is more than distorted, I mean, the voice is too quiet. Not to mention that loud bass. And the echo ... :rolleyes: (Which was probably unavoidable since I noticed that echo in almost all the recent live recordings of Snow Patrol concerts.) The cuts! :lol: BBC Ulster, you don't think I'd buy that 3:57 - 4:01 is from Just Say Yes, do you? Ridiculous. Don't want to put anything or anyone down! I believe that the boys played brilliantly and Gary sang great and that it sounded amazing live. But that footage just can't keep up with the reality. At all. :dozey:

Oh Lord, I just thought 'Why does Jen post a photo that is just plainly beige?' :lol: THEN I realized this was the crowd. Madness, seriously. :stunned: If I were the boys, I would have simply hided somewhere and wouldn't have gone on stage. :uhoh:
