  1. Yesterday I saw a new ad for the a-ha album on TV and it's a footage starting with live pictures and stuff and quotes from musicians about a-ah. And it starts with Chris. :nice: Couldn't read his quote though, because I had the volume down and wasn't paying attention, untill something in me made my eyes focus on - Chris Martin, Coldplay. I'm almost constantly watching that channell now hoping to see that ad again. But somehow it's much shorter now, without any quotes ...
  2. It is indeed new here in Germany, because that was the music video premire and before, Lovers In Japan was only released for radio stations in the USA. I'm thinking about whether it LiJ will be released as a physicall single now that we have it as well.
  3. Clam down, guy! It's Lovers In Japan :dozey: I'm happy though, because it's finally a single here too, so maybe I'll see it on TV a couple of times. :nice: And it's even more beautiful in good quality! Aw, I love it ... And Markus Kafka (the moderator) is a Fan of Coldplay. Last time when Life In Technicolor ii took its premiere, he was almost exploding of joy. :D
  4. Turned MTV on now and the show lasts for about another half an hour, so ... I'll post as soon as I know something new. The ad is still running. Aaaaah, excited!
  5. Do not tweet, but if I was, I would probably ask when they release the Strawberry Swing video. Chris would for sure not answer that one.
  6. Thanks for sharing them, they are really, really great! :nice:
  7. Are you two preparing a fight again? I agree, Mark, she's really far away from being good in her job. I remember seeing the Viva La Vida cover next to 'Yellow by Coldplay' yesterday on their page. 'Their EP, this is Prospekt's March, this is Life In Technicolor, this is Coldplay, this is Star 102.5' This is annoying. :dozey: Oh, and the song is called Life In Technicolor II, by the way. As annoying as I find the interviewer and as boring as the interview was, it was good to hear Chris on radio. Tough it wasn't current and though it was prerecorded. ;)
  8. Good point! Oh, and I just listened to part 3 again and ... is this a shaver in the background? Could be a cell phone's alarm because a message just arrived as well. Anyway. Is it just me or does she say 'this is' like a hundred times before a song is played?
  9. When find videos of performences of Coldplay on your computer you have never seen before. :stunned: That was kind of ... creepy.
  10. There is something about her voice which hurts in my ears badly. :\ Especially because Chris is because of the phone thing not that loud and she IS. Uh, good that it isn't an important interview or a particular long one.
  11. Happy Birthday Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends! I remember running to the store right after school and walking so excited back home. On my way I met some members of my class and they just grabbed the CD and said 'You have to borow me this! I loved Homecoming, this is them who collaborated with Kanye, right?' And I was all like :dozey: 'Yes, their singer did, but do not think they make this kind of music all the time.' 'Oh, anyway, I love them!' They didn't though and I never lend my CD to them :P As I would have got it back! *putting the Viva shirt on aniskywalker made* This year went by so fast ... :smug2:
  12. Love what you did with Chris. Very good idea! And cutting Guy out wasn't that easy for sure. :dozey: That's why my signature looks crap. By the way, 1000th post for this thread :stunned: Makes me think of how talented and passionated everyone in here is. :nice: Keep up the good work guys!
  13. You use to rule that thread, ideas rise when you give the word, now in the mornings you paint all alone, create the dreams we used to own.
  14. "Yellow" by Coldplay: showing the Viva La Vida cover Oh well, ...
  15. Great, I just got in to hear him leaving. :dozey: Damn it ...
  16. I'm so looking forward to Danielle's - I'm sure she will do something amazing. As always. :nice: Well, it would have been easier, if the background of Guy's photo was darker, so thath you don't have to cut him out. Or you need a brilliant idea.
  17. Although you already got two signatures made, Liz, I thought I give it a try as well and did this: Didn't turn out as good as I thought though. :\
  18. Today after choir I was walking out of school with a girl from my class and we were talking about music and concerts and I for suuuuure talked about Coldplay and asked her if she knew them and she just said 'Know them? Of course!', which made me kind of excited. She is not really a huge fan, but as I sang the first lines of Viva La Vida (which she for sure knew), she came in and we were giving a little ... yeah, 'concert' on the street, surounded by a lot of people, who were smiling and listening. (Kind of creepy for me :uhoh:) We started talking about the lyrics and she said, instead of Revolutionairies wait for my head on a silver plait she always sang Revolutionairies make the world a better place. And then we started singing Viva La Vida again and replaced that line with Coldplay makes the world a better place. :nice: So, note to myself: did have an embarrasing moment in public and converted someone into a Coldpaly fan today. Negativ + positive ... okay, that equals to neutral, I guess. :P
  19. We are models and forced to tell anybody who made that shirt, which is fun in my opinion. :)
  20. Yeah, it is and it's aaaaaaaaaaaaall mine! :D :smug: :P
  21. Indeed. :nice: Chris said that Will painted the 'The old king is dead - long live the king' painting on the wall in the Bakery so maybe the guys designed the paintings but someone else put them on the instruments. Well, we probably won't know. ;)
  22. Ah, sorry, I obviously mixed something up speaking about HTML codes. Seeing you are using Photobucket, click on the thing saying IMG Code, not the HTML Code, sorry, my bad. :( Then it should work perfectly. :) The new Viva-jackets really look amazing! But I think the drums (and all their other instruments) were painted by Vicky. I could be wrong though.
  23. Okay, first thing is: you need to upload your photos somewhere. For example you could upload them to Photobucket or any other similar website. Photobucket for example has the ability to give you either a direct link to you picture (which goes http:// stuff stuff stuff.com) or an HTML code you can easily copy and past into you post so that the photo shows up in you post. When you have a direct link, you need to put in fron of it otherwise just the link will show up. Or you copy the direct link to you photo and click on the little image with the mountains and the sun here in the editor so that a window pops up and you past your link into it. That's it. Was that explained good enough? :\
