Snow Patrol is playing on 28th July a concert near my town for StreetGigs here in Germany and I can't go. :bigcry: I'm on a trip with my class that day and can't make there it in time. Besides you have to win the tickets and don't seem to be able to buy them. :\

Where the hell do you live? They even came to my city which is mostly visited by German artists only. Or, well, almost. You know, not a big city anyway. I'm so in panic since I know Gary is going to release a solo album; and not only one, but TWO. :stunned: Somehow it feels like they are breaking up ... :bigcry: ... although I know they don't.

They are awesome! I wishe I would find such cool things in my room. ;) This week I was on a trip with my class and found the two 'Tribute To Coldplay' CDs which have some quite good covers on them.

Recently I got a huge crash on them (again :rolleyes:) with getting 'The Fray'. The album is really good and I can listen to it permanently without getting tired of it. Although I think to see that they are using the same tricks over and over, as Coldplay would say. ;)

Paint doesn't work (I just tried it), I would say Photoshop, you as you don't have it ... But I tryed that thing a couple of times and it never turned out so good for me. But maybe I just suck in this kind of things. :rolleyes:

He once said that people might thought he was almost dieing (mentally) when writing for X&Y and that was when he was taking sleeping pills. So as he seems to be pretty well I don't think he has so much problems with sleeping anymore.

The needed 'Run' and 'Chasing Cars' and Coldplay 'Viva La Vida' and I'm happy they got such success with them. But I'm even happier they have better songs. ;)

Of course you ignore them, they shouldn't have the attention their are looking for. ;) But I some kind of have a problem with hit singles of a band which made them HUGE. It's 'Run' and Snow Patrol for me as it is 'Viva La Vida' and Coldplay for me. Hola amigo? :uhoh: I don't speak Spanish, I'm sorry.

Yes, it does, but 'Run' reminds me of Leona's version of it which definetely killed the song for me. Maybe it's a song that needs to grow on me. I love soft rock melodic love songs as well, don't get me wrong, but I HATE that people think all their songs are like 'Run' and 'Chasing Cars' and that Gary only sings about his broken heart and how he misses his girlfriend. And that they can't rock. :P

Sorry, Mark, 'Run' never caught me. It's great live and I love some lines, but it's really not their best song in my opinion. And it's because of 'Run' that they are often described as 'soft rockers with melodic love songs' which makes them look like not good musicians. And they are. And they damn ROCK.

Hm ... too many. :lol: But my personal favourites are Shut Your Eyes You're All I Have Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking The Lightning Strike (I especially love part one) Open Your Eyes Hands Open It's Beginning To Get To Me How To Be Dead If There's A Rocket Tie It To Me And Chasing Cars of course. :D If you like b-sides, try and find Warmer Climate and/or The Afterlife, they are my favourite non-album tracks. Phew, you said 'some' songs, I listed 'many' :rolleyes:
