Oh, that's sad. The same will happen to me with Latin. Next year will be the last one for me, though I would be able to do two more years of Latin, but all my other class mates hate Latin, so I'd be the only one, so there will be no class. But you did obviously well at German! We did once something about Australia in my English classes, so I don't really know a lot about it. We did listen to a CD in which we traveled all over Australia. But the women who was the 'guide' had such a funny pronounciation (not Australian accent, more a mixture of British and German, pretty weird) that we all dind't pay much attention to the contens. How was your week by the way?

Oh, I really can understand it. But I find it very interesting that you had to do a whole year of a foreign language. And just a single year. Was this a kind of a project or something? Do/Did you learn other languages at school too? (Sorry, if I might be too curious ;))

Well, I'm always impressed by people who are able to speak at least one sentence in German, because I KNOW if I wasn't a native speaker, I would never ever in my entire life learn German, it's way too difficult. And like you said, you're very good. ;) (You better say 'Mir geht es gut' instead of 'Ich bin gut' because, 'Ich bin gut' means I'm good in something.) How was your day?

It's right, but I never use this expression. :rolleyes: It's just too formal. You could say Tschüss (Tschuess), which means bye, or Bis bald, which means see you (soon). Guten Abend => it's already evening here. ;) How are you, Bryce?

Jetzt wissen wir zumindest, warum Chris diese Pose macht! :D Aber die Jacke ist wirklich toll! :heart: Komme gerade frisch aus der Stadt, Musik kaufen und habe gleich zwei Typen zu Coldplay bekehrt. :smug: Ich laufe so zwischen den Regalen und plötzlich dröhnt Viva La Vida aus den Lautsprechern, ich also mitgesungen und so weiter, sehe, dass sie aber die CD der Grammys spielen und nicht das Album. Naja, ich summe weiter, laufe am Info-Stand vorbei und da stürmt ein Mann mit seinem Freund im Schlepptau zur Theke und fragt "Was ist DAS für ein Lied?". Die Verkäuferin: "Viva La Vida von Coldplay." Mann: "Wie?" Freund: "Sage ich dir doch, Coldplay!" Verkäuferin: "Viva La Vida heißt das Lied." Mann: "Wo finde ich die CD?" Ich habe mich dann mit dem Freund über das Album unterhalten, während die Verkäuferin mit dem Mann zum entsprechenden Regal gegangen ist. War ganz lustig. Als der Mann dann das gesamte Album angehört hat, wippte er einmal so euphorisch mit und ich dachte nur "Sicher Lovers In Japan". :lol: War's dann auch tatsächlich. Er hat's jedenfalls gekauft. Hat zwar etwas gezweifelt, aber die Verkäuferin und ich haben ihn davon überzeugen können, dass das Album wirklich genial ist.

I never listened to Seeed so I didn't recognise it, but I couldn't get the lines "Hier bin ich gebor'n und hier werd' ich sterben" and "Wenn ich so daran denke, kann ich's eigentlich kaum erwarten" from "Haus Am See" out of my head for days. And I really like his new video for "Schwarz zu Blau".

That was when they won Best Song, wasn't it? So, when they won Best Rock Album, Will kissed Chris on the cheak, I think. Awww ... :nice:
