I decided to list the big 2015 Fall releases. October 2nd: Janet Jackson / Avicii October 9th: Selena Gomez October 16th: Demi Lovato / Pentatonix / Labrinth October 23rd: Carrie Underwood / 5 Seconds Of Summer October 30th: November 6th: Little Mix November 13th: Justin Bieber November 20th & November 27th: 1 Direction, Rihanna, Kanye West (not confirmed yet but very likely) It's unlikely that Coldplay will release the same day as these artists in my opinion except for Little Mix. So that leaves us October 30th and November 6th. And if Adele is indeed releasing her album in November like Rolling Stones said, my guesses are November 6th and November 20th/27th (close to Black Friday) October 30th is the only date untouched

Love it!!! I now have hopes for LP8 and Coldplay touring and recording in their 60s and 70s haha. This will be amazing for them and the fans. I just hope they don't take too long between albums. I kinda liked the pressure their record label was putting on them to release an album.

1D can. Their last album debuted with 387000 copies sold while Ghost Stories launched with 383000 copies. And their fans will always make sure they debut at #1. I agree that quality > sales But the labels and the band (yes the band) care about this stuff because it looks good and it will allow them to better advertise the tour. A good album is the most important thing but sales are also very important.

There are rumors that 1 Direction might be releasing that week. I doubt their label will make them compete against 1D. I want Coldplay to release ASAP, hopefully in October because Adele is also releasing in November and she'll be #1 forever. Coldplay not being #1 wouldn't be ok.

Guys. I always post stupid shit on Twitter and jokes. No one believed it and people were laughing. Can't believe you believed it. I guess it means you're all tired of waiting. Rihanna would never open for Coldplay. She's too big for that. This actually makes me laugh because the way some of you hate Pop music is insane. You need to start liking it because Stargate produced 90% of Rihanna's hit songs. I also read some of you talking about a U.S. Coldplay stadium tour. That's never going to happen. They'll be doing arenas here.

They need to release before Adele otherwise they might not debut at #1. Adele will be unstoppable during the Holiday shopping season.

Coldplay performing at iHeartRadio without a new single will be the most pointless thing they've ever done in their career. They were just there last year. Something must come out before the festival. It doesn't make sense to take time off from recording to go perform a 20min set. PS: Dont they usually update their website before a new era? Or do you think they'll just add a new item to the timeline?

Does this album even have any buzz outside of the fandom?
