I am the goalkeepre at the hockey team and I play without the protections so there are some big girls who heat the ball really hard and I always got bruises, but Im just used now and thats why I am the goalkeepr, not because I am good, just because I am one of the few whop is not afraid to receive those shots :lol: awwww hehehe..are you good thought even tho they use u cos ur not afraid hehe :lol: u must be good too!! Well now Im proud to say that Im quite good.... there are btter players but still, Im not that bad :lol: well there you go!! ever thought of being a goal keeper for a girls team? it could be fun! i wanted to play in a profession girls team too but im not good enough so i havent tried thats but yeah you sound like ur really good and seem to have fun with it so yeah its possible :) I dont get the thing about tthe girls team..... Ive been always at agirls team, sport now is separate and hockey has been always a girls sport (here)...... I do have fun, and a lot! :lol: :D

With all the protection you are wearing, it doesnt look very painfull to me, but I wonder If it is difficult to walk with those shoes? ( the ones you use for skating and I dont know how are they called) hehehe... the shoes are called ice skates. for me, skating is the hardest part, cause i'm bad at it, but of course it does take a lot of skill to play hockey *well*, like to get to the National Hockey League. And it can still be painful despite the padding... you are getting hit by guys as big as 6'4, 230 lbs, smashed against plexiglass boards... sounds pretty painful to me :shock: i guess hockey to you is like cricket to me... i've heard of it, i would be able to recognize it being played if i saw a game, but basically it's just a mystery. p.s.
